I agree -- it looks nice with the superfractor design and the variant cover elements.

Probably a good move to have some $ in case a Surfer 1/1 pops up, card is gonna be quite pricey. Lots of big name 1/1s out there who still have yet to surface, like the Wolverines, Venoms, and Surfers (and only the spidey regular GT has surfaced).

Spidey gold finalllly popped- happy with result (and is the alpha as we thought above). A 10 would have been epic, but they can't all be 10s. The big thing was not one of those 4-6 QC issue cards.

Wow, looks great! If only UD had a chance to give '94 MM the same treatment, I would be all over that!

Thanks! What’s everyone working on in this set? Is anyone going for a parallel set currently? The main things I’m still working on are purple crystal vc’s, which seem like that’ll never be finished, and also picking up Woods off and on (but man it’s hard to get into that parallel set, not exactly a flashy set).
I’m in the process of grading all the golds with cgc. Not a big grader at all but for some reason found myself doing it for this set. The latest drop has most of the bigger names. Very happy how they turned out, lots of 10s, no pristine 10s though. But no 4-6 QC issues at least! I’ll be waiting many weeks for the rest of the 80-odd golds to pop.

It’s not a set, but is a set up lol. Please keep in mind it’s a work in progress.

I wish that Thor was a PMG lol. It’s a blue Trax, but it still looks cool. I just picked up the Kaleidoscope today, but still need the following: Red prism variant Metallurgy - im about to get one of these Both Gold Seismic ( I just missed out on both of them) PMG /50, /10, /1 - I don’t honestly expect to get the 1/1 Purple crystal variant Orange Lava Emerald surge and variant Golden treasures - I don’t expect to get these either

Oh gotcha- pic isn’t coming through too big and blue traxx really is close looking to blue PMG…still nice looking blue on the Thor.
Great progress on the Dormammu. He’s a cool art in this set to rainbow. I saw a purple crystal vc was sold not long ago, I’d like to say around $200-250 so they do get up there in price. Also don’t forget about the printing plates, both reg and vc, but being 1/1s who knows how feasible.

Also nice pickup on the kaleidoscope! That’s gonna get tough to pick up at those dry up more and more. Prob /25-/30 or so in the long run, give or take.

What’ll keep the kaleid print run low is the epack percentage of print run was tiny for 92MM plat (although the overall print run itself was pretty large)…and also that for every mini box you see out there, it impinges on the maximum possible kaleids that can be made (for every 10 mini boxes of a character out there, it’s one less kaleid that can be made of that character)…since that mini box can’t go towards a kaleidoscope. And it seems like a lot of mini boxes are out there in this set. So no question they’ll be pretty rare…50 digital base in the competitive epack trading environment, especially for the big characters, isn’t easy. But you’re right, many people live by the all mighty serial number

I completely agree! I think this will be like some of the early to mid 90’s inserts were. Stated very low odds, but no serial #. Then 15 years later the actual print run gets released, and the prices started jumping.

Ha- where is that being promoted? I can assure the card is here with me (just sent it home from COMC- it’s part of my seismic gold set). Looks like they are using the buy price of the raw card when I purchased…a bit misleading because that’s when it was raw. I graded the card, it was never sold graded.

Cool cards….Mags especially (I remember when that was pulled from a break, someone had the Mag spot and hit it…pretty sure that was the regular and not VC, so would be this).
Although not gonna be the easiest sales….a marvel card of Nightmare or Mojo for 7 or 8 thousand dollars..it’s a 1/1 in a very popular set..but I don’t see that, for those characters. Not exactly a lot of Nightmare collectors. Also this is the account that was connected to those fake GTs that were sold (supposedly unknowingly)…even though I don’t doubt these ones posted at all, they look pretty legit and appear all graded by PSA…that whole situation rubbed me the wrong way and does not make me want to buy from them. Explanations and the sources of those fakes were never really made public.
