Thank you for the info on the VIP black, and letting me know others you saw, any info on them is appreciated. I would have searched way too long, before I finally looked at a checklist. I think the plates are fairly attainable also. Hope full I can pick some of them up.

Well still waiting on the spidey seismic due Aug 4 (so much for CGC “express” tier..).
But this one which was estimated like Aug 18 already came back. Only a pink but solid result. Hoping for similar vibes for the gold but I’m not sure the centering is good enough for a 10.

![]() I picked up a Spidey today too. Swapped out a card from my framed Spidey piece... ![]() Turned into: ![]() I love the PMG's but I'm still thinking I like the Kaleidoscope and Purple Premier better...maybe... The '92 PMG is ALREADY growing on me.

This is nice! I was looking at other cgc 10 Wolverine cards as a side project, and hope it will look something like this.

I'm thinking even like a 4 graded card frame would be...massive. I have 14 of these 5 card non-graded frames...and they take up quite a bit of wall space. It makes for a time consuming, fun project though

I just picked up one of these and installed on the wall in my office/media room. I’m thinking of picking up 5 more and maybe something like those holders you have, and use that for display.

Got a very small submission back from CGC…the bigger subs will be coming soon.
Grades solid…I still think Beast is in the upper echelon of the set based on coolness factor. ![]() ![]() ![]() The daredevil is 07/92, which to me (and probably only me, haha) is pretty neat…7 being his first red suit issue. I’m still waiting on the express tier Spidey gold that was due 8/4, pretty wild…you spend that extra money for express and it’s this delayed.

Dazzler is the perfect fit for the Seismic Gold parallel.

Awesome little sub Dyna! Love all 3, but the Beast just looks "right" in a 10

Not going after the Kaleidoscope set maybe one of my bigger regrets with Masterpieces 92 Platinum. Earlier on, I have decided to only chase after cards with visible backgrounds, and this set is one of the rarest set with visible background and not mention that there are no white error issues with this set, but I kept on thinking that building this set would cost a lot and that I need to hold back some funds for a potential Surfer 1/1 bidding war, so I passed on trying to build set.

It will result in me having a ton of dups…so very well could be seeing lots of these on the market. Never too late to go for a set! It is true they have largely started to dry up and getting harder to find them…but I got in late myself on this set, so it’s possible. Unsurprisingly, the last of the 3 major sets I’m going for to be finished is….the purple vc. Gold seismic went first, then Kaleids (soon)…but the purple VCs I do not have the end in sight yet and they have pretty much dried up- it is a beast of a set to collect. Doesn’t help they weren’t in hobby. I do know of one collector who is going for both the red PMGs and blue PMGs, as well as 198/198 golds, and even an orange lava set. And also has nearly 20 green PMGs. So that person is putting way more into this set than me My regret is not going for the red PMGs. It would have been nice to have just one PMG set…ah well. I don’t even mind the white border issues much anymore…they just look awesome with the shiny foil. You chose great parallels to go for with the PMGs. Also…incredibly, I still do not have my Spidey gold seismic above back from CGC yet. Sent it in with comc…Express tier, paid a lot extra for that too…due back 8/4….not in my inventory as of 8/19. Pretty amazing for express tier…5 weeks and counting. Either CGC is messing up or COMC is.

One of the cooler recent pickups. Very focused now on purple VC’s I don’t have.

I opened a blaster box and noticed some of the packs weren't even sealed properly haha. UD was really in a rush to get these out. At least all the cards were there, including the purple. Anyone else seen this?

Yes, this was a very common issue with the blaster boxes. The interior packs are often sealed poorly, sometimes even split at one end. If you look at the product reviews for this blaster box on Amazon there’s a lot of people complaining about it, thinking they were resealed etc. They aren’t resealed or anything. It’s just poor QC on UDs part sealing the interior packs. You go off the outer box…if it’s a normal sealed box, it’s fine. Btw if you’re opening blasters, let me know if you pull any purple VC’s! They’re long shots, but you never know. Oh all people to pull a purple…maybe Purple can

Doom’s art is great in this. He just looks so maniacal haha.
Slowly chugging away at the purple set. Most (but not all) of the top characters done with. I consider Doom a top-ish character, probably top 10, so was happy to get him checked off.

I pulled a regular purple Feral. Not a character I collect, but at least it's a color match? These parallels are my favorite ones so far. |

The purple crystals really do pop…one of my fav parallels in the set. At least a partial color match on the Feral!

Still not collecting these but I enjoy this thread. I did however pickup the Wolverine/Sabretooth Battle’s in PSA 10 to go with my ‘92 Battle PSA 10. I like that they kept it simple for these and I’m not overwhelmed by all the parallels. I check the PSA registry every so often to check on the Wolverine’s and I see that they graded a Wolverine Blue PMG in PSA 10. Seems like a monster card considering all of the PMG issues I’ve been reading about

The OG 92 battle Wolvie/Sabre psa 10 is quite the monster card, congrats on obtaining that. There is also the battle rainbow in this to get in 10….I kinda wish they did more parallels of the battle cards though- PMGs would have been nuts. Or can you imagine purple crystal variant covers of the battles (!).
