Notre Dame is fully capable of beating Georgia, They would be in the playoffs under the 4 team playoff. IU isn't a playoff caliber team.

I said ND v.s. Georgia. OP said Georgia would open as 28 point favorites against ND. I said the line was -1.5. This had nothing to do with Indiana.

ND would have missed the playoffs this year in the 4 team format. It was Oregon, Georgia, Texas, Penn State with ND the 1st team out at #5.

Ah yes, AP poll has Notre Dame ahead of PSU. Notre Dame is better than PSU. That would have been the highly debated one for sure. Exactly why I think 6 or 8 is the correct number.

Hindsight is always 20/20! I did have $275 on ND so I'm happy. My single largest bet of the year. I felt pretty good about this one.

Yeah I try not to get sucked into live bets. People laugh, but I'm up over 7K since sports betting was legalized in Ohio. Nobody ever believes me but I have a spreadsheet of every bet placed since 1/1/23. It's mostly fun, but a source of income as well.

ND favored by 1.5. Seems right with no Beck and how slow UGA had been starting games. I’d imagine people hammer UGA though.

Edit: could have sworn it just said -1.5 ND on tv. Espn website shows -1 UGA.

I bought the line down to 6. The extra point didn’t matter this evening but it saved me when I bought Jax State O/U fo 56 from 57.

Lot of interesting "alternate" lines...not sure if that says things about the other teams, or they just threw lines out there..

Example..

Tennessee +7 vs Ohio St...

But next game...

Tennessee only +5.5 vs Oregon, or Ohio St +1.5 vs Oregon

So..by that logic, they are really "doubting" the #1 seed that bad. shouldn't the UT/OSU line be closer...or again, was it just a number thrown out to test the waters

Biggest slap in the face goes to AZ St though...+12.5 against Texas, or +4.5 against Clemson
