Ronald kryptonite: 26 year old Peter Lambert and his 5 ERA/1.40 WHIP!

Gotta love it

Missed a HR by 2 feet to the 415 sign in dead center, so close but so far.

Baseball, right? Such a tough sport. It's why the hottest of hot streaks should be seen as rare...not the norm. They just aren't sustainable and NOT predictable. It's why I hate the "what have you done for me lately" crap...especially at the end of the season.

Just curious... Are you going to say this ^ about Mookie's homer off 33-year-old *rookie* reliever Scott McGough and his 4.6 ERA?

Sure. "Mookie is very good, there's no denying that. And the odds tilt in his favor even more when facing 33 year old rookie Scott McGough and his 4.6 ERA".

Can we agree to be better than: “…but “x” got face this crappy pitcher last night vs “x” player had to face a tougher guy last night”. Let’s be better than that crap. It’s a super long season facing good and bad.

Would make a lot of sense wouldn’t it. Not sure anyone cares who the reliever was in a random game over 162…

The Braves posted a video of all of Ronald steals this year. The one thing that really stuck out was how many weren't even close. Maybe a handful might have been outs or would have went to replay. So, it's not like the slightly shorter distance has been much of a factor.

The funny thing is that the NL is so bereft of elite pitching this year that the DBacks starter last night, Merrill Kelly, is probably going to get some back end Cy Young votes this year.

Ronnie needed the 1B bag to be about 2-3 inches bigger to avoid getting picked off last night. Too bad he got picked off, because he was probably planning on stealing 2nd (hence why he got picked off) that time. Would have been a nice payday for me.

Guess I missed it. It's still incredible how many that haven't been close. Good for him for taking advantage

Really hope he gets to 70.

I originally posted the link with no context. Maybe that's why no one actually looked at it lol. Just edited it to say what the link was.

Mookie's HRs have come off pitchers with a combined 4.30 ERA. Acuna's HRs have come off pitchers with a combined 4.15 ERA.
