You should do it. Let us know your results.

Yeah there won’t be a 10 and the 3 BGS 9.5 all have issues from a reliable source so a 9 is the ceiling. 500k easy when one shows up. There has been a 9 but OC so that’s in the PSA 7 range.

So PSA gave a higher grade than BGS?? Guess sometimes cracking and resubbing is the way to go... removes any grader bias I guess.

BGS was a harsher grader at some point.

Crack + Sub is ALWAYS a better option than a crossover attempt in the slab.

Default Auctions Closing High

Here's an example of strong prices right now on Star. Drexler 9.5 closes at over $800. Nice copy from the first Franz / Star set. Blazers fans rejoice!

I bid and thought $300 or so would do it... foolish me! Won a couple of others, but man the prices were high.

I guess the secret is out that the Star Franz and Star Mr Z's Blazers (5x7) are hard to find. Not a Blazers fan, but love those cards.

Those Franz sets were all over the place in the NW back in the late 90's...then they slowly dried up. The Mr Z's were rare to begin with.

I got into this card at a very low buy in pre-pandemic pump. What do you guys think, worth crossing to PSA?
(sorry for the crappy pic)

Nice card. Probably worth it when PSA starts grading those, but right now that's not one of the cards they will grade. Just the 1984-85 base set numbers 1-288.

It already has grade for grade! Where have you been?! This is before PSA starting grading Star cards.
