Not sure why some are hating on SashaT. He is a 22yo, who started with $15G just 2 years ago. He is now making this type of deals. What he is showing us is the potential for the hobby for anyone. Kid is an entrepreneur. Tbh, I like watching his videos.

A lot of people hate on anything entrepreneurial in here though, even though they should really be taking notes. Sodium levels through the roof in this piece. |

Most in this thread seem to appreciate what he is doing. However, it is important to consider the room. Some long time collectors will look at this as everything that is wrong with the hobby that they have been a part of for years.

Normally, I'm not a fan of any flipper or loud-mouth-know-it-all.
But, Sacha come off as a decent guy. He talks WITH you, not TO you. That's a huge difference. If you see his videos, he walks you through his thought process like he is there next to you. Rather than doing any fancy graphics and screaming at you to buy this card or that card or this card now or this card later. Good guy I think...hope his personality stays the same! Easy to watch his videos. |

What hobby? It's no longer a hobby and investors like him are to blame, that's why I dislike him, as well as all the other investors who are simply in it for the money.

Actually the xFractor sold for quite a bit more than the black refractor. You can check the sold prices on eBay, most recent that comparable are from end of January this year. PSA 9 xfractor sold for 128K on 1/31/2021 and PSA 9 black refrator sold for $79K on 1/30/2021. The Kobe 03-04 EAP is a very nice card, but unfortunately many patches from 03-04 EAP Kobe were altered. I am not sure if this one was altered or not, but most of these should have one or two color patches. Overall I agree Sasha won this trade.

Not sure if he’s an investor. Seems like a typical collector that likes to consolidate for that ultimate grail.

Same here. If you see videos of not by him, you can see he talks to everybody. One of the most respect I have for him is always wearing face mask. That shows me who he is. He has one of the best line in the card industry, my translation you'll go broke if you held your Andrew Luck RCs.

25:45 Sasha talks how it went down. Cliff notes: Wasn't looking for Charizard Bought Mike Trout BGS 9.5/10 from Charizard owner Told Sasha, he was offered $350K for Charizard Charizard owner asked if he was interested Owner shook hand then re-negged from $80K to $100K (took it, 2 good 2 pass) Holding on Charizard, thinks card is $1 million. |

The guy says mbappe’s prizm ( 3rd year card) is his big cardin his latest video, either he is tricking the buyers/sellers or he genuinely dont’t have a clue.
His videos are interesting though.

Not just anyone has 15k to start though to be fair. I do get your point but some of us started with a lot less than that to get where we are in terms of our collection. I also enjoy his videos and agree there is potential for anyone in the hobby but it would certianly be easier for those who had 15k to start. Im proud to say that i have built my collection to where it as as im sure others are but to compare starting with 15k capital to potential for anybody is a reach.

Most people love success, but hate the successful. Remember that.

These people you're describing will never be successful and will always be trying to bring others down with them.

Like him or not (I happen to), the people Sasha will bring into cards will help the value of your collections even if you never sell. I'm always amused when people who don't even qualify for old-timer status are grumbling about new people coming into their little niche interest. This attention is never bad, even if they don't move or talk about the cardboard in a way you approve of.
