They are, I honestly think Trump supporters in the back of their minds at least considered the possibility she was going to win. The Dem's acted like this was 100% in the bag so this is absolutely soul crushing to have it flipped in their faces out of nowhere. Hence the reactions.

Even though they're protesting and destroying their own stuff, it will get blamed on Trump supporters and they'll say it's their fault

There is no self accountability anymore, everything is someone else's fault.

Hillary barely lost?? She got decimated in electoral votes it was not even close.

it does determine how much money you make and having a 4 year degree is certainly more impressive than stopping at high school.

But to your point, 96% of people voted for either Trump or Clinton, so in a way, we're universally stupid.

Nobody expected a Trump victory, let alone a complete arse whooping. Hiliary and her supporters acted like the election was in the bag. The liberals got blind sided so I find it hard to believe that the right would have reacted this way.

Wrong.

About 48%. 50% of people that were of voting age didn't vote.

Losing the popular vote = "complete arse whooping"?

I mean that's a pretty silly rationalization. He lost the popular vote so I sure as heck wouldn't call it an arse whooping.

If it was an arse whopping on either side, the election would have been called at 11:00 pm instead of 1:30 AM. This was a razor thin election. A few hundred thousand vote swing in a couple states and the outcome is different. Trump knocking down the 'so called' blue wall was impressive though.

Pure laziness. She thought she would get by because of the big money donors and the non-stop ads, however, nothing affects people more than real-life interaction, having a rally, showing you care, meeting the people.

Trump would do 4 a day!

Jewcer's denial is hysterical. It was a total and complete ass whooping and the most unprecedented General Election victory in US history.

No we took away all the states....

Soooooooo no, he has nothing then....

(he still hasn't been called in Michigan or Wisconsin I believe). Either way all of those are within 1%? That's an "arse whooping"?

I guess we all have different definitions.

Unprecedented yes, ass whooping no. Trump will end up with less electoral votes than both Obama, both Clinton, Bush sr, and both Clinton. If you want an example of complete ass whopping see Reagan v Mondale or Reagan v Carter.

the DNC had a gimme handed to them and dropped the ball. Liberals everywhere deserve to lay in this bed that was made for them.
Both parties had a gimme. Sanders would have won easily. Romney would have won easily.

I find all the doom-and-gloom reactions on social media to be absolutely hysterical.

Did you hear the chants of pre-impeachment of the republicans if Hillary was elected president? That's a joke to say one side wouldn't or couldn't do the same. The pendulum swings both ways.

I love how people are "literally shaking" or "literally hiding in fear". The snowflake generation truly has no idea how to cope when it's not all sunshine and ice cream.

The history of protesting for the left vs. the right says otherwise. That's how we know.

The hatred on social media is astounding! So very, very sad

My ignorant, white trash, racist, Southern kinfolk said some awful things when Obama was elected. No doubt

But nothing was burned. Or destroyed. They didn't boycott. They didn't assemble in mass and scream profanities.

Millennials don't know how to lose. They've been taught by mommy and daddy if they scream and cry, they'll get their grade bumped or receive more playing time.

Doesn't work like that in adult land.

You don't have to like what has happened. But you have to accept that it has, in fact, happened.

How you act is still your choice. How you treat people is still your choice. What you say is still your choice. No one is taking your home, your job, your money, ability to chase your dreams. None of it.

You're pitching a fit.

So when you're done. Get up. Dust yourself off. Accept that you acted like a brat and move on.

Billions of people on this planet would love to have your 'problems'.

Agreed, more so for Romney that Sanders for two reasons. Sanders would have had to move to center in the primaries and it is easier for the opposite party to win the presidency after the other has had it for two terms. Only win the president has a very large favorable rating does it work. It helped Obama in 2008 after Bush II and it helped Trump this year.
