Playing with a bruised hamstring from that pick off. Could explain his discomfort at the plate. Lot of balls on the ground and popped in the air. Want to see that up the middle approach again.

In his defense today though, Greene's two splitters that he struck out on were the best splitters he threw the entire game by far. It's also a brand new pitch that lacks consistency, so I don't think it's heavily scouted. The third splitter he made contact with was laced for a triple. So he did adjust.

The eBay vault ownership transfer has caused some higher end Sho to be auctioned off. Hope you guys got some deals tonight. There were some value buys for sure.

Also.. for those eyeing the heritage auto on pwcc weekly tonight, the card looks super clean and well centered on first blush but it has a surface abrasion near his hat that caps it for a PSA 8 at best. Good eye appeal though.

Well, I don't play in the higher end Ohtani space (which I assume to be maybe $4-5k+) but I did pull the trigger on this tonight. I've wanted one since they started showing up out of packs, but wasn't willing to pay going pricing early. Considering this is Shohei's first pack pulled Dodgers card, it's heavily SP and doesn't have any parallels, I feel good about it. It's got some corner whitening on the top but most of them do. I'm focused mostly on RC Shohei in my PC but wanted a Dodger card and this spoke to me. I know it's airbrush but it's flagship and I love the flagship design this year. So yeah, I'm stoked!

Nice! A much more reasonable price than release. Congrats!

'High end' is relative and depends on each person, but I'd say anything over $1K should not be taken lightly. That said, Ohtani has so many $10K+ cards now though so maybe we should calculate the bar

Hahaha agreed man, it'll get slabbed up for sure. Might end up a great 8 which would be a bit of a disappointment but it's still no darn base card!
