If you think by not showing blue lights at the White House shows a lack of support for police, that's fine. I think bumper sticker activism is about as low as twitter activism, but that's just me. The correlation to the Yellow Ribbons on the back of cars during the Iraq invasion was just what popped in my head. I thought back then the same way I do now, if you did that and thought that somehow you were supporting the troops through magnetic decals you were lame.

I gave examples. Besides my friends and my family I mentioned LT Gov of texas, Cleveland police, Milwaukee police, so on

I gave you examples.
Examples who actually verbalized their feelings on TV
You made broad statement initially saying police don't care about the lights and that soldiers didn't care about yellow ribbons
Fact some people petitioned the govt and filled out requests shoes it would mean something to someone.

Why the need to even first say officers don't care (some do based on what I typed) and giving your two cents on why it means nothing. You're not even an officer. Sometimes you say "I'm sorry" when you hear someone say they lost a loved one even though you don't care deep down. You do it to show empathy and sooth. Same with the blue lights. It shows those in the blue brotherhood that the govt appreciates you even at times you might feel otherwise.

Do crosses along side a road mean anything to those not related to those who died? Probably not, but that's ok. It's not about them

You also already decided that brown's mom was going to say some statement asking to unite the community and the police even though her actions haven't gone that route since (family screaming burn bitch down, her turning son into martyr who was wrongly murdered in her eyes, her villianizing police officer for not apologizing)

Every bad cop found guilty should have appropriate consequences but why would this lady speak at the DNC other than to get votes from those who see milke as an innocent victim
He was a thug. Wish he were still alive but still a thug

Mentioned that already. No more free money sent to an atm card. You show up, you work, you get your welfare money. You're not there at 7am to work, you get nothing.

Now, if Trump is elected, be prepared for another war. Obama is diplomatic with these crazy leaders around the world. Imagine if Trump and Putin get into a verbal spar. Their egos will start WW3. Clinton is weak (for not leaving her cheating husband) but lesser of the two evils and she will hopefully carry on Obamas vision.

The Heel,
Should Obama shoulder sny of the blame for the terrible race relations in America? No way was it this bad in 20008? How about the violent crime and murder rate in too 50 cities? How about the increase in terrorism and growth of ISIS? How about how many that are not happy with their current health care situation? What about some angry veterans?
Should ANY of the blame be placed on Obama?

Here's some stats that show how great Obama made our economy

During the Obama years, the number of Americans below the poverty line is up 3.5 percent.
Real median household income: down 2.3 percent.
Americans on Food Stamps — 33 million then, 46 million now: up 39.5 percent. Americans who own homes: down 5.6 percent.
National debt — $10.63 trillion then vs. $19.3 Trillion

The fact that you think he's one of the best presidents just shows how much you've sipped the msnbc kool aid, seriously.

He wasn't an awful president, more like a mediocre president. He won't have any legacy other than Obamacare and we all know how that went (unless you're not an adult and don't pay your own bills). Anything that he did improve he only improved marginally. He had 8 years and accomplished little, I wouldn't call that a success.

-Race relations cannot be controlled by our President. The police vs. civilians are on the individuals.

-I do not know much about the crime and murder rate except that Chicago and cities in NJ are wild. Please provide data for the 50 cities.

-Unfortunately, President Obama did underestimate ISIS. I think he knows his mistake and he is actively trying stop it now by sending in special operation forces to Syria and other terrorist havens.

-There will always be someone upset with their current healthcare. The thing is, many people now have insurance when they didn't before. IMHO, everyone should have basic rights and that includes healthcare even if it costs me more money. I have fantastic healthcare but I pay a portion for it. My rates increased but I am okay with it. No one, poor or rich, should be denied.

-Veterans have been given better support with Obama. Like I stated before, it is not enough. Veterans should be given good, free medical coverage for life (unless their employer provides it), higher pay when actively serving, and better psychological healthcare when they leave and become a civilian again.

Could have been more support...but the right thought the vets weren't worth the money. Took months and a bunch of bullying and bad press to get the right to give support to 9/11 1st responders as well.

According to NPR, poverty was on the upswing before he took office.

"Obama did a good job in a really tough situation. Poverty would have increased a lot more without what he did," says Timothy Smeeding, professor of public affairs at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and former director of that school's Institute for Research on Poverty. "The American Recovery and Relief Act [more commonly known as the 2009 stimulus] did a great job helping our bottom end [of earners].” (Fact Check: Is It Obama's Fault That Poverty Has Grown? : It's All Politics : NPR)

Keep in mind, many things he wanted passed, didn’t. This is due to having to fight with the legislative branch for the majority of his terms.

As for your other comments, please remember we did not have any debt until the Bush years in which we went into a needless war in which his administration lied to the American people and world by telling up about Iraq WMDs. I unfortunately voted for Bush the second term because Kerry was, imo, weak. I also felt that Bush got a raw deal with 9/11 and felt he still had a job to do. A job that he and his administration failed terribly.

In the end, Obama spent his tenure as POTUS to clean up the previous 8 years. With the legislative branch not helping him out and the job he has done in spite of that, he is one of the best POTUS we have ever had.

Race relations certainly have a part to with the president when he makes irresponsible statements without having facts. It started years ago with the "The police acted stupidly" and the beer summit, when the cop did his job to a T. It continued with his statements on Travon Martin, Mike Brown, Freddie gray, and then used a eulogy at 5 officers funerals to play politics.

Violent crime is actually up for the first time in about 40 years.

He is doing nothing to stop isis. He created it by giving a pull out date for Iraq. Hey great idea. Tell the enemy exactly what we are going to do before we do it. We are doing nothing, he is in total denial of the problem.

There are still millions of uninsured. Those that cant afford the insane increases, but make too much to get subsidies cant afford it. Many are just paying the fine, because it is cheaper than healthcare. We changed our entire system and way of life for 10% of the population. Sure, some people are better off, but many many people are much worse off.

Veterans...seriously? You mean like the whole VA scandal where no one was held accountable? Where they are STILL getting bonuses? Where many disabled vets have to pay for their own health care so they dont have to wait 6 months to be seen? VETERANS DIED WAITING AND NO ONE WAS HELD ACCOUNTABLE! But then again Valerie Jarrett classified us veterans as "possible terrorists". The military, and law enforcement as a whole, and with very few exceptions have no respect for the CINC.

U.S. Senate Republicans block veterans' health bill on budget worry | Reuters
Ummm no. It was because Reid refused a vote on other parts of the bill, as well it was not funded. The Iran sanctions measure was necessary because Reid would not allow the upper chamber to hold a separate vote, yet the Repubs are the obstructionist party? Republicans further objected to provisions that would make more veterans without service-connected injuries eligible for treatment at VA centers. That provision, they charged, would swamp an already overburdened system. But thats cool, just scream repubs hate the troops. Here is a hint, watch the difference in ovations the Bush got from the military vs obama and hillary. The military in general can not stand either one of them. They have gotten rid of strong leaders like General Mattis, and plugged in political lap dogs to run the military.
The only reason the democrats did this bill was to make the republicans look bad. The money would have to be borrowed and as usuall the democrats did not send the bill to committee or let the republicans have any Input.

Absolute nonsense. ISIS was created when the Bush administration de-baathified Iraq creating a vacuum which lead to the creation of current day ISIS. Obama has dropped 10s of thousands of bombs on ISIS territory. If you were to argue that the drone strikes are doing more in the mobilization of ISIS and are countered-productive as well as unjust when they are on hospitals, I could buy that argument. But to say he has done nothing and is responsible for the creation of ISIS demonstrates a complete misunderstanding of the topic.
