When you authorize the return you will be given a choice....first class package or standard envelope. It has happened to me twice....in both cases I chose standard envelope and eBay authorized first class package. When I got the damaged card back and noticed the label, I contacted eBay and explained what had happened.....in both cases they refunded the buyer out of their slush fund and allowed me to keep the payment from the original transaction, and I was never charged for the return shipping.

Yes you can, but the claim form mentions that damaged items should be returned to seller before filing the claim.

Can you send photos front and back of each corner individually on a 2.00 card. LOL.. Some buyers just beg to be blocked.

Look, if you’re not prepared to put in the work maybe you shouldn’t be a seller on eBay.

Lol..

After that had another on a sealed box set. Can you take photos of these cards so I can verify the condition. Sent a list of about 15.

Lots of Nervous Nellie's right now contacting me after the card isn't in hand by the expected date - seeing lots of delays in our area because of wildfires. Someone even blessed me with a negative because the card wasn't there and then it showed a couple days later.

Same here. It would be nice if the tracking actually worked on all the packages. I find myself answering that message constantly. Probably wishful thinking on the tracking.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this thread - based on the advice here, started offering eBay envelope as an option for lower dollar cards a few months ago, and just burned through my first box of 100 envelopes. Moved a lot of cards that would have sat forever at $3.99 shipping, and haven't had an envelope lost or a complaint yet.

I just use this as a response for the ones who scream it says delivered , but It is no here .

To explain standard envelope system to you it is scanned at your usps sort facility as delivered and the carrier usually has it to you in 1 to 3 days after scan.

My other response for why its not there is : please understand this is coming in a PWE with a new form of tracking and may take additional time. You are covered by EBAY to 30 days and if paid through paypal 6 months in some cases longer. This method of delivery may take longer and we thank you for your understanding and patience.

Yep - they actually revised the feedback for me - it was a new user and I helped them figure it out.

It's more about how they are packaging them - loose in a card saver, one card sandwiched between two toploaders. I guess I was expecting too much - card in toploader, blue tape, etc.

Just picked up three more from my mailbox and all three were great. I am surprised that there are sellers putting zero tape on the toploaders, especially on Chrome/Sapphire stuff.

I am glad about this shipping method because it has allowed me to convert thousands into some other nice product +cleared up a ton of space but the seesaw is driving me insane. Recently I have been bombarded with non receipts and messages a few days after shipping out + neutrals + a neg feedback. Theres A TON of low feedback people buying this stuff that know absolutely nothing about cards + what PWE is. They expect 1st class for $1 on a $1 card.

Im like close to blasting them to all of y'all lol.

I’ve been doing PWE for almost 4 years now. I occasionally get asked if I will do a bubble mailer and they balk at the $3 upgrade. I have the following line in all listings and feel it cuts off questions other than the occasional if I ship in a toploader:

Shipping is $1 and card will be mailed in a plain white envelope.

I have paragraphs in my listings detering anyone from buying any PWE. Like for real. And they still buy and complain. I only do like 25-50 packages of PWE a week now. It was around 75-100 pre correction. Most get delivered, most dont have tracking updates. A few complaints but recently over the past 2 weeks a significant increase in issues.

This is on a card that costs $1.99 with free delivery.

I am searching for a flawless version of this beauty to add to my set, since on mine the fleer logo print is off target.
Would love to see sharp images of the backside, corners and edges, if possible.
Thank you in advance.

Sellers are definitely asking for trouble not putting some type of tape on the toploader/card saver on a PWE shipment due to the nature of the handling process. If a card slides out the top and gets damaged. that's gonna be on you as a seller, not USPS. Side note, not related to PWE shipments, some people say that a team bag is enough to provide closure at the top of a toploader but I've still seen corners peek out in that instance.
I've tried to figure out if regular top loaders are causing some of the delays getting caught in the machine, etc. but can't figure out a pattern. I switched to Card Savers for lower cost and less rigidity. Not sure what you meant by "loose in a card saver", sounds like no penny sleeve. That's another one I ran into recently where I ordered a large lot of cards all promised in card savers, but they had been stored in heat/humidity or overcompressed or something and the paper brands were sticking to the card saver and would lose surface on removal. Ruined most of the cards.

I place cards in penny sleeve and then either TL or CS inside and team bag and also use part of label I cut from my rollo printer to help seal the back and opening on the TL or CS from outside the team bag so the tape whiners do not complain about a sticky TL or CS. I also wrap the sealed item in a half sheet of paper before placing in the envelope. over 2500 of these and one complaint for cards moving inside a Card Saver.

Here's this scenario I keep bumping into. I had someone buy four cards at $5.99 each - which means they received a 20% discount and the order total was $19 and change. The only shipping option is First Class for some reason...it still says the buyer paid for eBay Standard Envelope and not First Class, so that can't be it.

Just trying to figure out why it does this - I've had other orders go over $20 and it bumps up to the $50 protection for Standard Envelope.

I know someone will say it - I get that some of you are just upgrading to a First Class/Bubble Mailer situation, not what I'm really talking about here.

Does it show as 4 ounces? If so change to 3 Ounces and you should get SE on the option.

Doesn't matter what the weight says - it only allows for First Class.
