When you are a 2 way player you can get your team behind you even quicker when you perform on either side of the ball! It will be truly fun to watch this season

He had 1 bad inning? Unfortunately that is the world we live in now. Instant gratification or they suck. Hyper critical of every move/every decision. All the time.

He's working faster to get into a rhythm. Was a mistake for those batters to not take more pitches. Confidence changes a lot of things.

Also great to see his Splitter being filthy again after being off with it in the 1st, Shohei always seems to need an inning to calm down

I’m not the one saying he is horrible. I even said pretty much the same stuff you did.

I just believe he would be a better mid reliever than starter, especially if the Angels have not been allowing him 5 innings. He has shown control issues so far this year, which is what I was asking if that would calm him down.
