I don’t recall ever seeing one of these before. Not mine nor do I know the seller. I like the image quite a bit more than the normal TC auto.

Yeah, I believe that's one of the end of year Topps employee giveaway cards.
They get one each year, and seems like 2018 (or 2019) happened to be Ohtani.
I saw Sooz (former Topps employee) post about the same card recently on Twitter. I don't remember if her card was a parallel though.

I have few of the Ichiro ones that I bought off of eBay several years ago.
They had 4 different designs for the Ichiro.

I think that's possible with mlb.com in the film room section of the videos but not sure if Matty V has done all his HR calls. Please let us know how it works for you as I haven't played around in there yet.

Even without Trout and Rendon the Angels are must watch TV just for Shohei.

Tonight we get all 3 back in the lineup with Shohei also taking the mound!

The excitement is palpable

Agree on the excitement level. Ohtani is a huge part of why it feels like baseball is booming again right now, along w/ Tatis & Acuna & other guys of course. (I say this having traded away my Ohtanis for Rays cards haha and not even caring, still hoping he does new and amazing stuff.)

There’s a lot of buzz about Acuna-Soto-Tatis blah blah blah, but for me as a baseball fan Ohtani having success is what is really great for the game. Guys like those mentioned above are great, but we are them a lot over the years. There isn’t anyone like Ohtani in the game and the fact he’s having success is awesome. I was lucky enough on rease to pull a 2018 S2 700 Black (sold it back then). Still one of my favorite cards ever pulled. That next week pulled a Donruss on-card SP auto /25 (sold as well). Wish him great success. As an artist, I actually am working on piece of him now. Can’t wait I share with you guys when I get it done!

Yeah, but it is just one inning. We’ve seen him get beat up before, let’s just not pass judgement until we see if he can bounce back and brush it off.

I’m as big of a homer there is, but rough is rough. He has zero control right now.

It seems to be that 95% of his misses are up and away to lefties/in to righties. I won’t pretend to be a pitching expert, but that would make it seem to me that his front shoulder is flying open during his follow through
