From what I've seen so far with immaculate.

Almost all the acetate cards look great. Always some of the best cards they put out. If I had one that I don't like much is the acetate dual patch autos. Looks a little goofy rather have the Windows be connected and get to see a bigger patch.

Premium patch autos took a big step back. The Kobe 1/1 looks great but to me the clear best jumbo patch autos panini releases now are the prime colossal ones from NT.

Rpa something about the patch window bothers me. I think immaculate base rpa are going to become less and less sought after. They just aren't that nice and the gap in price between immaculate and NT has widened substantially over the last year.

A Justin Anderson / Winslow (I think) dual logoman 1/1 is on eBay and they're just a huge upgrade over previous years booklets. I mean wow. Wish it wasn't all rookies as a lot of the combos will make no sense a few years from now but they still look amazing. Imagine if they ever take some of those combinations from last years flawless and produced them as dual logoman autos with a similar acetate design. Would be the most sought after cards panini has ever produced.

Multi auto cards look good granted I haven't seen any of the real strong combinations yet.

As always immaculate is made up of a goofy variety of cards.

You have

1) the acetate cards which are the best of the best that panini produces.
2) patch autos that are nice but a little underwhelming compared to other releases at this point
3) plain jersey cards and sticker autos that haven't changed much over the year and seem out of place.

It's unfortunate that panini will continue to get lazier and lazier with the filler cards in immaculate. Why would they ever worry about having all prime patches and on card autos when without it immaculate still retails for 50p over suggested retail price. Meanwhile they put all prime patches and on card autos in noir and it sells for 25-30p off a few months after release.

I think it's clear at this point that the most important thing to high end buyers (mostly cause of group breakers) is having huge chase cards. Any product panini releases that has enough chase cards that are valued at 1k+ will always do well regardless of the rest of the product.

Great looking Exqu....er, I mean Immaculate design.

But that small auto area will look like a haven for sloppy signs that run off-card. Should have had the players sign them vertically.

I don't believe exquisite ever did an acetate version of dual Logoman autos.

In other news.... Long story short, I missed out on the towns/lyles dual Logoman auto today by a grand total of $72.73.

I may never forgive myself.

What really bothers me is I have seen some of kentuckybasketballcards pics, and his Curry and Davis have noticeable nicks and dings in the edges of the cards... how in the world can Panini send out these cards with noticeable flaws on them... Again I am not all about value as much as the joy of pulling a player you enjoy, but damn for the price, these cards should not have flaws on them.

The acetate cards look so nice, however!

I never get why people get a little emotional when others compare Immaculate to Exquisite stuff. Exquisite is 100% the inspiration for the entire layout of Immaculate, and so it should be.

I just get disappointed when in 2016 there are so many poorly designed cards in such a high end product.

The Auto Patches are below average for such high end. I'll take the 04/05 Exquisite Auto Patch design any day.

Really the only winners in this set are the Acetates with holofoil.

I'm with dasiegel on this set, NT beats Immac this year IMO.

Still plenty of sweet stuff and the checklist promised a lot more, but too samey samey as the previous 3 years of Immac. Most of it even worse.

Protip: the Panini designer who does Immaculate was a former UD Exquisite designer.

So there's bound to be unmistakable similar footprints and style similarities.

Also, there are better ways to make use of real estate on dual logoman cards.
