Default WOW...I know Immaculate can be a bloodbath but...

Saw a single box break of this on Cards Infinity's You Tube Break. This is a $700 a box product!? Contents were

Ish Smith Base
Thaddeus Young Acetate Jersey (#14/75)
Marcus Morris Dual Jersey (#5/25)
Bernard King Sticker Auto (#26/99)
John Wall Auto (#10/60)
Jalen Rose Auto Redemption

I know it's beating a deadhorse but wow....that's insane. I thought my Preferred Box Breaks were bad!

It's not though. I've been watching breaks all day. It's downright horrible. Nice cards in the mix. But Wow is right. Stuff has been hard to watch.

This is what happens when a sticker company has zero competition I don't know why people continue to buy their garbage?...stick to singles and you will be better off

First time in years I have avoided immaculate completely. Looks like I made a good choice based on what I'm hearing from everyone. I officially have have not spent a cent on panini in over a year

Well, after watching a few breaks and comments like this, I think I may cancel my pre-order for a case which I had a down payment in.. Better to lose $145 than in excess of $2000+. What you guys think. Smart move?

Saw some of the stuff on Layton... save for a booker premium RPA I didn't see anything I'd be excited about. sucks because I'm looking forward to my boxes tonight and getting less excited each break.

Again, this is not a $700 a box product. Just because online breakers are bending people over on the price doesn't mean everyone is charging that price. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe retail was around $400 and cost was around $335. I'm not a huge fan of panini's either but you can't put the price online breakers are charging on Panini

It seems that with so many players and cards on the checklist, it would be less in anyone's favor to hit a monster.. I really had high hopes for this product after positive reviews in previous years and would have been my first Immaculate case. Urgh, if only the price was around $1500 a case than yeah I'd go for it.

My favorites so far are NT and Noir from this year.. Let's see how Flawless fairs up price point to value of cards in a case.

I have a feeling that cases will sell for much less in a few months after all the dust settles and hype to a minimum

It will hold. maybe a very slight dip, but too many gamblers out there for this not to hold at current prices.

If you cant take the risk for feast/fammine, I suggest you stay away from breaking wax. If you are looking for decent value return on your busting, stick to low end like prizm. Leave immactulate and flawless to the big boys who have the balls to gamble.

Thanks for reassuring me that this hobby is not about collecting. Its totally about the return margins of busting a box and seeing how much money you can make back.

Last year's Immaculate was a bloodbath also for a lower price compared this year. I saw that break also together with the other GB and it was brutal. This type of products are geared towards the Group breakers. For those who have deep pockets and can afford to lose money on their breaks, you guys can buy it. For PC collectors, it's better to just buy singles.

You mean rich/wealthy people? 80% of the country can't afford this type of fun and/or gambling. My father always says more money than brains. To each their own of course, but your statement reeks of I'm better than others because I have money to spend, hence your big balls for gambling.
