Yeah I'd like to know what those cards with the bubbles/dents that don't appear to affect the surface itself would grade. I may end up throwing a damaged Julio in just for the hell of it and do a PSA 1-10(if it exists) run on him.

In 5 years condition out of packs will probably be worse. Fanatics can always backdoor the cards people want the most.

I just opened my first of three from my target order and I didn’t pull a single decent name. Did pull a auto, but it was elehuris Montero. On the bright side, all cards were well centered and the quality was top notch. I’m sure my other two boxes will have great names and will be terribly OC.

Here is a batch from last year. Very few had oc issues. Something went terribly wrong during the printing process this year.

I thought I remember reading somewhere that Chrome had a new printer or new facility this year? I might be misremembering though.

Topps and Panini both have gone downhill quick with quality over the past year. It’s pretty sad. Incompetence is striving at both companies

How is this for incompetent? Pulled this from my first hanger.

Rookie auto of a Mariners pitcher (I think)

Problem is it shows he is an outfielder on the back with 7 at bats and 39 home runs last year in the minors. They must have 6 year olds running the QA department and proofing these. Can’t wait to see what other “gems” are out there.

Topps is just as surprised as I am that somebody actually read the back of a Penn Murfee card.

I'm sure customers will have options to the effect of $1k graded and $950 raw.

Interestingly the last time a manufacturer backdoored virtually all of their hits the company folded, but of course they had other problems.

I typically don't relish anyone losing their job. I've been laid off, and it really sucks. That said, I strongly urge without reservation that the next job replaced by robots be the cockeyed boys and girls who place sticker autos on cards. As if the sticker itself isn't bad enough, they place it all catawampus on the card, adding insult to injury.

I ripped my 3 looking for Seiya. Got a purple RD Seiya and 0 other Seiya. Did get a purple RC and RD Julio that are actually decently centered as well as the AS refractor. But I pulled 0 base of the big guys. Not even a RD. No autos. 1 numbered refractor of....Rougned Odor.
