I'll shoot you a message, as I do have a couple dupes. Most notably is a '96 SPX auto. I can vividly remember my dad and I going to the local shop, here in NH, ripping $5-6 packs of '96 SPX, trying to pull the Griffey. My besy friend (still), was as big a Frank Thomas fan as I was a Griffey fan, and he actually pulled a Griffey auto. To this day, he still has it, and has never accepted any trade offer, lol.

I was able to pick one up, on eBay, a couple years ago, and since then have had another 3-4. It took 15+ years to get ONE, and now I have dupes... go figure!

Forgot to add that I actually made the collage using regular old Microsoft Paint. I've edited it so many times, over the years, as the collection grew. The only bad part about using Paint is that they cap the number of pixels you can use. I've had to shrink down the image in order to expand the corners for newer autos!

I use Paint for most editing jobs. Here's one I made, and turned into my Facebook cover photo. I cropped a photo of myself, rotated it on it's axis, superimposed it on a picture of Brigham and Women's Hospital and Dana Farber, then cropped and edited the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" logo... ALL on paint:


Long story, short, I'm actually a 6-year brain tumor survivor. I did 6 weeks of radiations treatments at Brigham and Women's Hospital, in Boston. I tried hard to keep a smile on my face, the whole way through it, and a positive attitude. When I was in-patient, every person that came into my room left laughing... I made sure of it! The doctors, techs, aides... all the way down to the front desk people at the cancer center were the most incredible people I've ever met in my life. I love going back down for my follow-up appointments, every year!

Magicpapa's pictures, on here, make me drool, every time I see them!

One thing that stands out to me, above others, about my collection and fandom of Griffey, is the fact that he played the game the right way. He has never been accused of any wrong-doing to the game, and he played with a smile on his face for 20+ years. I'm glad I picked the "right" guy!

I purchased an auto baseball bat of griffey that is numbered to 2000 i believe and was signed when the mariners accept griffey into the mariners hall of fame. The bat has the mariners hall of fame logo and is the same color, weight, and lenght as the one griffey used during games. I haven't hear much of this bat simce it was released, is it still a desirable collector item?
