He didn't sell me those cards, they were already mine...I just sent them to him and he helped me with grading. Don't worry about him, he is a really good guy and a great collector...100% trust in him!
The real problem is USPS!!!!!! I won't never ship via EMs, only DHL for high end items!!!!!!

I had a package with about $3000 in cards from Australia go missing on me. Luckily they were insured. I called customs in LA where the package was last sited and after mentioning a claim my package was at my door in 2 days. It had been sitting in LA for over 4 weeks and was a 7 day shipment.

Enrico, this thread has hurt me terribly. The person that did this will get what's coming to them. These type of threads ruin my day after reading them, sincerely hope that there was just a miscommunication somewhere and your cards show up.

There was a guy who worked at my local post office growing up in a small town of about 1100 people who got caught stealing money, checks, and sports cards out of packages. No idea how he got the job in the first place considering he used to boost cars way back in the day.

If there is no resolution I have no doubt these cards will show up on ebay and you can go from there to find out who did it.

I'm really sorry for you but I think you should at least consider asking the weight question of the friend. Many people on ozcardtrader thought they could 100% trust a really good guy, but then something happened in his life and he ripped off a good trader. Not saying your friend has screwed you, just that even the people you think you can trust the most could potentially hurt you.

Also, if you're sending $20k worth of cards overseas twice, why the hell wouldn't you insure them?? What if a plane crashed? You have nothing. You could probably explain to customs that they are your own cards sent for appraisal and not have to pay import fees if you can prove owning them before.

I think there is more happening than just a lost package. His original packing slip arrived so in the eyes of USPS the goods arrived - somehow someway in the middle of all this the boxes were switched.. Please check your slip with your address that says 29lbs if it looks to be tampered with..

I am hoping your friend sent out multiple packages and just put your slip on the wrong box.. I'm hoping cus it could happen..
