Hester is no cheapskate when it comes to packaging. I'd take his word that that sucker was taped.

I regularly ship 5 cards in toploaders WITH a big chunk of cardboard in a 000 mailer and have no issues.

You say that the envelope must have burst at the seams? How do you figure this happened? Maybe a postal truck squished it? Get real with your speculation.

I just posted pictures dude... look at them... there is NO TAPE... understand you guys are quick to defend your fellow breaker... and if you would have read thoroughly you would see that I even told him I understood he was doing us all a solid by hosting the break for free... but in the end, I'm f-ed in this deal and the cards were not mailed the way he claimed... I approached him very nicely, he basically told me he did nothing wrong and couldn't do anything about it.

Handle it in the pm like an adult.

Posting it the way you have looks like a plea for attention.

Hester has perfect feedback on many, many group breaks. I would take his word over my own...

Here's what I would do:

I would immediatly stop posting any more about this, apologize to Hester in hopes he allows you back in any future group breaks, and complain to the Postal Service for their poor delivery.

But then again, thats only what I would do...

Did you or did you not read my PM's back and forth? He clearly has no interest in doing anything about it. I can to the thread that we are supposed to REPORT CARDS RECEIVED to and I reported what I got instead... I posted here to ask everyone else involved in the very same break what they thought I should do, I wanted to be thorough so as not to field 50 hypothetical's from you guys... It's overtly apparent that you guys are all tight with Hester. I'm not saying he is a bad dude... I'm just saying the cards weren't shipped the way he claims they were...

Yes, the response of an adult!

We have reached an amicable resolution and all further discussion is not necessary. Need to watch out for those USPS delivery trucks to not use the bottom of their tires for delivery

Don't wanna continue this but I have a question. If those cards broke going through a sorting facility shouldnt those cards be somewhere? I doubt they would just throw them away. Maybe tomorrow just go into the local post office and talk to the post master be nice!!! and explain what happened and see if they might know where the cards would go if they were found by the post office. Its worth a shot.

Thanks Chad... I did try that yesterday, before I even mentioned this to anyone on the boards... I was told that all loose items are sent to the lost mail center in Georgia where the items will go on live auction, so no dice (I even said "Hey I have pics and these cards are serial numbered!") to no avail
