I have a 2-card Value (1980 - Present) order sitting in Assembly for 1.5 months now. Also of note is that PSA/DNA authentication is now lagging as well. My last PSA/DNA order arrived February 6, 2026 and was completed February 25, 2026. I'm at March 20, 2026 on the next order and the items still haven't been officially IDed yet.

They straight up are not paying graders enough. I don't believe the not passing training part either, when my buddy was there they were bringing in anyone with a pulse and training them in 2 weeks.

If it was that we definitely know they wouldn't say anything. There's also the possibility, which I've heard, that it's literally "grab what you want" over there, whether it's Research & ID or Assembly. Employees can just grab what they feel like grabbing, instead of doing things in order.

Ok, they ran out of slabs. Wait a minute - PSA ran out of slabs - aren't they in the business of slabbing cards? Don't they have some form of management that might be on the ball and order more wayyy ahead of time?

Gawd, I remember the days when they had bulk specials at $6.00 per card - and got them back to you in a reasonable time.

Thanks. I expect some upcharges for the value bulk sub, as quite a few of the cards, if they gem, will be pushing $1k in value (well, if it takes till say August could be pushing $1.5-2k by then, who knows. Lol). The value max will probably get an upcharge too assuming it gets at least an 8. Won't gem due to a bum corner.

Ok, finally got my grades. Pretty much a 9's fest, which is Fine. haha. But seriously, a few of them were PC replacements. For example, I sold a PSA-9 Topps Kobe RC back during the Covid Boom. Kind of wanted to buy one back, just never got around to it. Had a raw I thought for sure would be a 9 with an outside shot at a 10. So the 9 back into the PC works, and I used a coupon I had, so even better yet.

I don't grade a ton, but can someone break down the PSA offers program to me? I have some solid offers on some other 9's, is that when they buy them back and turn them into 10's. Saw a few videos on that. Yikes

Anyway, if I accept, how do I get paid??

In what way does it work? I tried it for the first time in Mid-March, attached a Value Bulk order to a Regular order. It went into Research and ID at the same time as a Value Bulk order I had sent in a month prior. Both are still in Research and ID.

Sent in a single Regular packaged with 8 Value (1980-Present)
Both show arrived Mar 16, 2026
Both show went into order prep Mar 18, 2026

Regular finished Apr 15, 2026
My Value order finished Apr 28, 2026

I have 3 other orders sent in January that only contained Value (1980-Present) and are either still in Reserach or in Assembly.

I've attached a higher tier with a value order 3 times now and all have had the same results for me.

Hopefully this explains it well enough for you
