I went ahead and put in for one box and I did win.

Way lower entry number than usual for an EQL. In turn, a much higher win % too.

To me, it feels like Fanatics saw the lack of demand and let more winners out. One of the highest win percentages in a long time.
It was as much or more the 2 box limit. If the limit was 5 Im sure it would have been a much lower percentage. Cases even at 1 instead of 2 seems like you'd need a miracle or very low demand to win more than 2 times for an entire year.

Now give me that six paragraph response.
If you could read, I was talking about opening boxes. I also said not many people. Not zero. In today's hobby $200 for a hobby box is less than nothing. When I was opening in mass there was a better chance of me opening multiple cases of mid to low end product than 2 boxes or less.

You fr think that given a choice of scoring 2 hobbys guaranteed or racing for a chance at getting half a dozen or a case that "not many" would choose the 2 guaranteed hobbys in a second?

WOW

Lol only on BO would someone think a 34% chance at 2 boxes equals GUARANTEED!

I GUANRANTEE had it been a regular online release that Topps didn’t deem as in demand with a 10 box limit you’d have had just as good of a chance of getting 2 boxes or most likely way more.

What a disappointingly brief response. Still disconnected from reality, but I was hoping for a longer diatribe.

I regret not entering the EQL. Meant to do it but had things at work and I missed out. Product looks cool so I'll be following to see where prices settle.

I entered for 2 boxes, I only wanted 2 boxes - no more. $400 was plenty to spend on comic cards for a personal rip for funsies.

I won 0.

I lost the EQL for 2 boxes. The only thing guaranteed here was the ability to enter.

Nearly every response I see you make is a willful misinterpretation topped off with the cheapest defensive insult.

My reply was in regards to your assertion that "not many people" would want to open "only" two boxes.

You're some kind of special.

I took a shot for 2 boxes and lost. Ended up buying more boosters with that money. Overall I think the cards will do well, even being overproduced.

Yeah didn’t expect Topps to do something like that for this product. That’s really good to give auto or sketch.

In case anyone is interested, DA has hobby boxes available for presale at $349.95. You could snag one for $30-$40 cheaper on "the bay", but figured it was worth mentioning

So 300/350 seems to be about the price people pay for 'guaranteed auto/sketch' apparently.

Correct me if I'm wrong but outside of Cryptozoic releases and maybe a few select others, there aren't many guaranteed sketch or auto per box. So $300-$350 isn't terrible.

It's actually terrible, just less terrible.

By comparison to other Topps releases, I would say it's a lot less terrible. But I agree that $300-$350/box is way higher than it ever should be.
