Way lower entry number than usual for an EQL. In turn, a much higher win % too.

To me, it feels like Fanatics saw the lack of demand and let more winners out. One of the highest win percentages in a long time.

It was as much or more the 2 box limit. If the limit was 5 Im sure it would have been a much lower percentage. Cases even at 1 instead of 2 seems like you'd need a miracle or very low demand to win more than 2 times for an entire year.

If you could read, I was talking about opening boxes. I also said not many people. Not zero. In today's hobby $200 for a hobby box is less than nothing. When I was opening in mass there was a better chance of me opening multiple cases of mid to low end product than 2 boxes or less.

You fr think that given a choice of scoring 2 hobbys guaranteed or racing for a chance at getting half a dozen or a case that "not many" would choose the 2 guaranteed hobbys in a second?

I GUANRANTEE had it been a regular online release that Topps didn’t deem as in demand with a 10 box limit you’d have had just as good of a chance of getting 2 boxes or most likely way more.

I took a shot for 2 boxes and lost. Ended up buying more boosters with that money. Overall I think the cards will do well, even being overproduced.

Correct me if I'm wrong but outside of Cryptozoic releases and maybe a few select others, there aren't many guaranteed sketch or auto per box. So $300-$350 isn't terrible.

By comparison to other Topps releases, I would say it's a lot less terrible. But I agree that $300-$350/box is way higher than it ever should be.

Even though I didn't hit on the EQL, I was still interested in running the numbers for this product since I haven't seen anyone else do it. Here's what I came up with:

Hits per 12 box case:
actor autos: 8.12
sketch cards: 2.00
artist autos: 1.11

Interestingly, this only adds up to 11.23 hits. The only thing that didn't have odds was the dogpool card. That would imply there would be 0.77 per case (or, you will hit one in 3 out of 4 cases). Depending on your point of view, that is either cool or stupid. If there really are around 1900 of them, wait a week or two after release and don't overpay for one. Also with that many, I have a feeling Topps is using a stamp for these, and they won't be actual pawprints from the dog. Hopefully I'm wrong on that...

Looking at the parallel autos, here's the numbers of signers at each level:

Chrome autos - all 26 signers have orange shimmer, yellow and blue x-fractor, black, red and black raywave, red, and superfractor autos. 24 of the 26 have gold raywave and red and orange lava autos, 23 of the 26 have green and dogpool autos, 21 of the 26 have green/aqua raywave autos, and 18 of the 26 have aqua autos.

Dual autos - all 9 duals have red and orange lava, orange shimmer, yellow and blue x-fractor, black, red and black raywave, red, and superfractor autos. 5 of the 9 duals have gold raywave autos.

Best bubs autos - all 13 signers have orange shimmer, yellow and blue x-fractor, black, red and black raywave, red, and superfractor autos. 5 of the 9 duals have gold raywave autos.
