Would be a great pickup for anyone.

Yankees organization is treating him like dirt now.

It has been one year since this historic insert set was released, and there is no information on the eagerly anticipated 2025 topps gilded collection product and whether or not the gilded storm insert set will return, change in format, or completely disappear. I will publish the monthly price guide a few days early this month to ease everyone's unbridled excitement so that you can focus on holiday preparations. There have not been any active auctions for any card in this set over the last two weeks and I believe breaks are essentially non-existent at this point in time. Most recent sales have been under the BIN/BO format, though some singles in this set have not been seen in almost 6 months! There are still 5 (FIVE!!!) superfractors from this set listed on ebay currently and only 2 singles /24. List them if you've got them, there are still buyers out there!

GS-1 Elly De La Cruz 700+ 1200+
GS-2 Wyatt Langford 500 750
GS-3 Paul Skenes 1500+ 2000+
GS-4 Jung Hoo Lee 200- 300
GS-5 Jasson Dominguez 400- 500
GS-6 Junior Caminero 450 750+
GS-7 Jordan Lawlar 200 300
GS-8 Evan Carter 150 200
GS-9 Heston Kjerstad 100 200
GS-10 Pete Crow-Armstrong 750 1200
GS-11 Yoshinobu Yamamoto 450 750+
GS-12 Jackson Holliday 400 600
GS-13 Mike Trout 400 500
GS-14 Corbin Carroll 250 400
GS-15 Ronald Acuna Jr 300 450
GS-16 Yordan Alvarez 250 350
GS-17 Mookie Betts 350 550+
GS-18 Shohei Ohtani 3000 4500+
GS-19 Jackson Chourio 700 1100
GS-20 Aaron Judge 500 800
GS-21 Juan Soto 250 350
GS-22 Bryce Harper 400 600
GS-23 Fernando Tatis Jr 300 400

I still can’t find any of these singles at shows.

Fortunately, I have a good start to my SGC graded set after this one landed in the mail this week.

Gorgeous card regardless of the slab it’s in.

Well, this is a first.

Five superfractors from this set listed on eBay for sale and ZERO base singles/24.

Is it the offseason lull?

Hopefully something pops up soon, I haven’t seen an active auction in three weeks now.

Some of us are trying to finish a set! Lol

Nah, I’d love to just finish a PSA graded one.

Not every card has been graded by SGC.

I have seen one finally graded by BGS - it’s a Jackson Chourio and it graded a 9.5 for a repack product.

Though you are giving me some more EVIL ideas, lol.

Any progress for you?

I'm not going for the set. I have a PCA, JROD, and Elly. My PCA is a PSA 8, but thinking about sending all 3 to CGC. Not sure how tough they would be on those back corners. It's a mint card in my eyes.

In my opinion, sticking with PSA is the safest bet, and I’m not even a fan of grading in general. Remember that the PCA is a condition sensitive card and a PSA 8 would still get you more than a CGC 9 if you were ever to resell. I don’t believe PCA will ever have a PSA 10 card, so an 8 is the second highest grade possible.

Whatever you decide, good luck with your submissions if you choose to do so. You’ve got a great selection of players in your gilded storm collection.

On behalf of the biggest turkey in this set, I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful thanksgiving weekend.

Be thankful that we are privileged enough to participate in this fantastic hobby. Don’t ever take your enjoyment for granted.

It helped that it was the only card run auction style from this set in the last month.

Looks like there were four legit bidders as well.

I would imagine you can get almost any 2024 Langford card for that price.

Curious when the next time that card shows up again.

Now I remember what these remind me of, late 90's Topps Gold Label cards.

You are right!

It’s no wonder I love this set so much, as do others.

The best thing about these is you can actually see all the colors of the rainbow when you refract them.

Someone's got to teach you how to post photos so things aren't a postage stamp. We're being robbed of the visual glory.

Soto in a Yankees uniform and bad corner snatched up within two days for $315.

He is the only player in the set who has changed teams since product release.

So far.

At this point, only 1-2 singles from this set are being run by traditional auction format per MONTH.

Where have all the gilded gold storms gone?

I'm sure people are just holding them...I'm not a player collector of any of my 3 but they look so nice, and they are so limited, I'm just holding.

I’ve found evidence that both the Lee and fatty have surfaced, so the only supers that have not been accounted for are the Kjerstad, Yamamoto, Yordan and Julio.

This implies that at least 85% of the product has been opened and I would believe close to 90% at this point in time.

This also suggests there may be less than 250 sealed cases left in existence, and in those cases remain about 2-3 copies of each base gilded gold storm.

The highest pop report in PSA still remains the Skenes at 15 graded.

Not a whole lot of new singles sold over the last month because not a whole lot of singles were put up for sale, as expected during the offseason. However, those few singles that were posted for sale attracted A LOT of interest. Here’s your December price guide update:

GS-1 Elly De La Cruz 800+ 1250+
GS-2 Wyatt Langford 500 800+
GS-3 Paul Skenes 1800+ 2200+
GS-4 Jung Hoo Lee 200 300
GS-5 Jasson Dominguez 300- 500
GS-6 Junior Caminero 450 750
GS-7 Jordan Lawlar 200 300
GS-8 Evan Carter 150 200
GS-9 Heston Kjerstad 100 200
GS-10 Pete Crow-Armstrong 750 1200
GS-11 Yoshinobu Yamamoto 500+ 800+
GS-12 Jackson Holliday 400 600
GS-13 Mike Trout 400 500
GS-14 Corbin Carroll 250 400
GS-15 Ronald Acuna Jr 300 450
GS-16 Yordan Alvarez 250 350
GS-17 Mookie Betts 350 550
GS-18 Shohei Ohtani 3000 4500
GS-19 Jackson Chourio 700 1100

Another raw Langford just closed with a soft bottom right corner on the back, numbered 7/24.

$948 was the closing price - wowza!

Now there are no base set singles for sale again. No off-season lull in bidding action however.
