Did anyone purchase any of the Update Fanatics Exclusive blasters? If so, have they shipped and/or did you receive them yet? Curious as to how these might pan-out. I know that generally speaking,...dollar for dollar, FEs tend to reflect best "value" (on paper, at least).

Ok, long time hobby guy here, but what are FEs?? If refering to the blasters, is there a way to differentiate without opening?

I didnt open any Hobbies. I try to stick to jumbos for the guaranteed auto.

Only one of the jumbos had one auto. The others all had two autos and two relics.

After watching some breaks and reviews I just stuck with Jumbos.

My hobby case was dramatically better than my jumbo case

In hobby: Paul Skenes Real One Golden Mirror auto, Bobby Witt Flagship Patch Auto /30, 2 real one green autos, 1 base real one auto, about 7 chrome mojo parallels and 2 chrome mojo autos, 2 True photo SPs, Bellinger Golden Mirror, etc. I can’t remember specifics but definitely had about 50+% more than expected hits with more than expected autos

I didn't open a case, just 2 boxes so far, and I did quite well. A Griffey heavy lumber (unfortunately in a Reds jersey) in one box and a Cam Smith HFA in the other box. Add in 3 autos in the two hobby boxes, a Kurtz blue silver pack mojo and I did quite well.

My next question: what opened was the first wave. Lots of boxes with multiple autos and way more autos than usual out of hobby. Does this mean the second wave is going to be brutal? I got a few hobby boxes from topps on release day as opposed to preorder. I'm nervous about opening them.

I don't understand why the 1990 cards in update are all foil. There was already a shiny version of the 35th anniversary cards: the chromes in silver packs.

It doesn't make any sense when the autographs and relics aren't foil.

I really hope this was a one time thing and doesn't continue for 1991 next year.

I opened 2 hobby boxes!
I'm very disappointed!
1 Auto, standard, nothing special!
2 numbered cards per box: blue, purple, and gold!
2 patches, 1 from Ben Rice and 1 from a player I don't recognize.
The inserts are also nothing special!
After saw some online reviews of Breakers, I expected more.
Luckily, I bought the boxes in the pre-sale, so at least they were "cheaper"!

Printed to high heaven but priced is as if it’s limited.
