Oh ok. No thanks! This is like buying and grading blind. I am all for companies trying to maximize profits, but the milking of the customers are getting crazy. I will use their grading, but this is a no thanks for me.

I agree. I would understand CGC merely authenticating raw cards above a certain price, which would essentially provide what the eBay AG program does. But forcing grading on the buyer is extreme. It should be the buyer's right to keep the card raw or grade it with another grading company.

yes 100%. This is a way for CGC to boost their numbers for sports cards. Not a terrible idea to try to force some market share. Try to get the market to accept CGC sports cards. Will be interesting to see how this shakes out.

I do not use any platform to buy cards but eBay, so snype is a non-issue for me. I sell on eBay only. They are the biggest platform.
