Nice! Post pics when you get them in hand!

I was getting a PSA order together, I may do them to check them out. Competition always helps the customer so I’m glad to see another service open up
|
I'm shipping 14 out tomorrow in the Economy tier. I'll give them a shot.
|
Three shipped out today via standard service. I hope to have them back soon.
|
Sent a bulk 50 card economy at $8 no subs.
Just glad there are more options to force PSA and BGS to try harder to complete orders. |
Just subbed 3 cards today economy with subs. Looking forward to a positive outcome

Has anyone sent any vintage cards to them yet? I wonder how the cards would look in those slabs.
|
What is everyone's thoughts on doing sub grades on these? I am thinking of sending some cards in, a few I would like to sell eventually if they grade well, I am hoping for 10's on a few cards. Would you do sub grades on those? I am thinking for the lesser value cards that I may just keep not having the subs..

I think I'm going to send in a couple vintage cards. I sent a 2000 Fleer Tradition Gloss Tom Brady in a couple days ago. The plan is to see how that one looks first. |
One thing I must say is that I am very happy with their customer service so far. I reached out via instagram and email and got very fast responses from them. I appreciate that. I made an account and have 5 cards to send as a test.
Hoping to do plenty more soon, especially when they open up in a few months to thicker cards. Sending out my 5 cards tomorrow. |

I have been placing cards onto my computer screen with their slabs on the computer background to get and idea of how some different designs will look. |

They've got this Hank Aaron on their page...can't tell if its an actual slab or a mock-up. |

Having been a long-time BGS fan, I like the sub grades. Of the cards I usually buy, I notice the BGS slabs with subs usually outsell the same grade no-sub cards. I think the flip will look a little sparse without the subgrades. I am a little put off by the $10 surcharge. If you're already grading a card based on those four criteria, why the exorbitant fee to let us know how the criteria was graded? Anyway, I'm excited to give them a try and see how it works out! |

Has anyone attempted to submit a card and get the auto certified. I tried to add it to my submission but even though I checked the box to add the auto grade, it did not update in the cart. I tried numerous times and could not figure it out. ANyone else have the same problem?

Are you trying from a desktop or mobile device? It could be a compatibility issue. If you’re working from mobile, try it from desktop or vice versa to rule that out first. If that doesn’t work, try contacting them directly. Good luck, I hope you can get it working Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My first sub was four cards all with autos and the submission went fine for me. But, others are having issues and CSG is aware. https://twitter.com/fireboxcases/status/1362064753863110657 |

https://twitter.com/fireboxcases/status/1362064753863110657
Go figure. A simple solution to the problem. I wish I would have known this before I packaged everything up. Maybe I can try calling them tomorrow or Monday and see if they can just add it to my invoice for me. Thanks for the heads up though. |
Having submitted to their sister company CGC for a while there are two things that may help...
When they ship your submission someone has to be there to sign for the package - without exception. This is less of an issue with many working from home but if you cant arrange to be home on the day of delivery you will have to arrange to pick it up at the FedEx or UPS location or after three unsuccessful attempts it will be sent back to CSG. You WILL NOT be allowed to change the shipping address or redirect the package once it has been shipped. The simple solution for those where this presents a problem is to have your package delivered to your local FedEx Office location (use that address with attention your name) and you can pick it up there - this works fine. Another suggestion is to use your FedEx or UPS account on the submission (if you dont have one it is really easy to open one). This serves a few purposes - it is less expensive (just consider the insurance aspect when using FedEx or UPS), you are not billed for shipping until after package ships (you aren't then giving CSG an interest free loan for a few months), and for FedEx there are some rewards you can earn for shipping on your own account. I sent out a 25 card economy sub this morning to see how it goes. Patrick |
Slightly off topic, is everybody doing subs themselves, or have any group submitters popped up? I don't mind all the paperwork, etc. of dealing directly with submitting, but the prices and turnaround of the right group submitter seem to outweigh that. Would love to give CSG a shot!

I subbed my own. If PC Sportscards starts a group sub I'd use them though! |
Anyone else get their free CSG shipping kit? Pretty neat idea, and the free 50 count card savers and 100 count penny sleeves was nice. Doubt I'd ever use the shipping box though, I prefer the USPS small flat rate box.
|
I got the email for the shipping kit but even though my cards have been delivered, I cannot see the submission yet. They say it takes from 2 - 15 days to enter based on submission level. I chose the lowest level so I assume it will be two weeks.

The subs have to be evaluated during the course of grading anyway. |
