Happy to see Kershaw come back and pitch well this year. Thought if that happened, he'd hang 'em up.

Was hoping that Kershaw, Verlander, and Scherzer would all retire at the same time, thus creating one of the greatest HOF classes ever.

But it looks like Verlander and Scherzer will both pitch at least one more season....

Cool to see some seldom seen cards of his surfacing on eBay.

How far out should I book his 2031 induction weekend?

Book today. He’s an absolute lock in his first ballot.

Yeah, I’m thinking a Topps Black RC (in reasonable condition) of a no doubt first ballot Hall of Famer with an entire career with one big market team is going to be 10k plus by the time he’s inducted.

With no real comps, the market will have to figure it out. But 50 something Blacks isn’t going to be enough to go around.

Only $2 million?? I’ve got to run so I can pick that one up pronto!

I can’t remember seeing one sell for quite awhile. Based on those ask prices, I think you are right about them being too expensive. I would think $5 to $8k would be the right price range today.

Curious if any of the Kersh blacks PSA 7s owners are more of a Scherzer collector and interested in a trade...if so, PM me.

Something along those lines depending on if the cash ask is reasonable.
