Not sure if there is a way to fact check this but I'm guessing Mason Miller had the first ever immaculate inning without throwing a fastball in history of game today?

went out and ripped 9 sliders, first pitch called strike then 8 swing and misses on 7 pitches way out of zone. one of more impressive feats i've seen.

Also first pitcher in baseball history to have 8 swing and misses in an immaculate inning. So yes, probably the greatest inning ever thrown in the history of the game

You don't know this. They haven't been keeping track of swings and pitches thrown for the entire history of the game.

7 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 12 K

Fastball averaged 100.2 mph. He was feeling it today.

Josiah Gray (WAS) returns to pro ball after a 14 month hiatus from TJ. Decent enough 34 pitch outing for High A Wilmington. 1 1/3 IP, 0 H/R, 2BB, 1K. Less about the line than what it signifies for his recovery.

I'm sure most are "Josiah Who?", but he was a top prospect not all that long ago. Rooting for his return to the bigs.

From Joel Luckhaupt on Bluesky this afternoon: Hunter Greene threw 30 pitches at 100+ MPH. It was the 9th time in his career he’s done that in a game. Since 2008 when we have had pitch tracking Jacob deGrom is the only other pitcher to throw 30 100+ MPH pitches in a single game.
