Both redemptions shipped and should be here Friday. Kudos to Upper Deck for the fast turnaround. Redeemed on the 2nd and shipped on the 8th.

I got my redemptions today. The uncut sheet looks fantastic. I got the base version as the redemption card specified.
My preliminary art redemption is Wrecker. It looks fantastic. Nahuel Grego did a great job on the preliminary pieces.

Wow that is amazing. Totally frame worthy! The preliminary pieces in this set are by far my fav of the MM preliminary’s.

Congrats on the uncut sheet…man I want to pick one of those up sometime so bad. The base one particularly…I’m a base guy. Is the sheet numbered /25 or did UD just happen to put that on the pack odds mistakenly?

I don't see a number on the front. The bag is taped to the board and I did not peel it away yet so it's possible the back could be numbered but i doubt it.

I think they created 25 of each uncut sheet redemption card so they could have a cap of redemptions. Maybe to prevent them from running out like that did with 2022. It's interesting that they are using the 2024 uncut sheets for 2022 redemptions. I wonder if they'll run out of 2024s. They're shipping some crazy sketches with those replacements too.

Also interesting is the /65 on the prelimary redemption card on the pack odds. I wonder if Nahuel got to keep some preliminaries to sell or if there are some characters that will not have them.

Pretty sure he said in the breaking video linked above that there were only 65 created, some of the cards dont have PA or the PA was digital only, something like that, pretty sure he doesn't have any PA to sell himself - but I could be wrong, there was definitely some discussion around it tho

Prelim art looks pretty solid.

Congrats Rootleaf on the Wrecker!

Are the cards for this release slightly thinner then the before releases?

I tried putting in a 108 toplaoder with a sleeve and there is the possibility of it sliding out.

What is the next size toploader down?

Yes, I agree they are slightly thinner. I'm using the 100pt toploaders with a slieeve by Ultra Pro. Some cards are a bit loose. I think dropping to the 79pt would be too tight for my liking.

Rogue and Bullseye Metallurgies
Goliath and Gladiator Greens

9 Oranges
19 Purples

I completed a canvas set but was 1 short of a regular holofoil set. I did not make any tier 1-3 sets. I think I completed the base and gold sig of tiers 1 and 2.
For now I'll keep resisting and not going to touch my case... But with posts like this is it is so tempting...

They look good in hand.

I'd like to pick up some more, but I keep running into shilled auctions. No bueno.

Try the FB Group: Marvel Card Collectors Worldwide - MCCW

I'm chasing my Epic Purple /199 there and I see a number of recently offered Bronze Framed /99

Thanks, yeah I'm browsing a few FB groups. I think I'm just going to be patient, as there are a lot of these cards out there (many of them featuring more minor characters, which I'm ok with).

Down to looking for the last chase card from the MM'24 epic purple /199 parallel:
  • 82 Wolverine

OFC there are a few active listings for that on EB but for some reason sellers still think that it is still the 1st-FOMO-month phase after new set release so I'll wait a bit ..

Finally done with the chase of Grego's MM'24 epic purples /199 so thank you to all forum members that helped with the effort.

Worst case total based on COMC prices as of last few months was supposed to be 2.6-2.7K but with a little patience managed to finish under 1.9K

Awesome set to have- congrats! Only 199 of these sets can exist, so thats pretty neat.

Out of curiosity, how are you going about storing it? Binder, Toploaders?

That’s a great set up. Binders look high end and solves the whole “thick cards in pages” problem
