They’ve all been teasing it so hard past 6 weeks, it was bound to happen one last push out the door. Excited to see the breakdown and if it is a full Masterpiece set or a watered down version to just make it out before the buzzer

(#01.) I'm glad I don't work at Upper Deck.
They must be running 24/7 this month.

(#02.) It just shows that any time, Upper Deck has ten+ projects in-process.

(#03.) Upper Deck could not have foreseen loosing the Marvel license if they had this many projects started.

We’ve heard 1 last push out the door for how many things now, including 92MM platinum. UD just keeps going I guess! That’s good they are getting the set out, happy to see that for the artist…would have been a waste to have all that art go unused.

Would love to see the logistics of this. What’s UD gonna do, rush this out to market within a couple weeks? Have ePack also and sell that out within a couple weeks? Crazy stuff.

Like I mentioned in the previous thread, the goal is to keep everyone in the dark and create speculation. Basically an "is this really it, or is there more" environment. Honestly I had a feeling that UD would still be able to release some things going into the new year. There's no way they could push all this stuff out before the end of the year.

We just saw that epack has a limited reprieve, so that's the window UD has to shovel what they have off the loading dock.

I'll say again, companies with long lead times *always* have multiple things on the shelf in various stages. I don't know why this is such a surprise to people.

Hoping for a nice bright art Masterpieces set….wolverine perhaps showing some promise in that respect. Phoenix in shadow is hopefully not the trend.

Say that with utter shock and surprise, or dryly with a tinge of worn-out feelings over rapid releases, and either seems to work.

Add this to the list that was NOT mentioned in the ePack email.

So far (sure, minutes after the news hits...) it seems the only info is on, err, the one site shown above. Is this another exclusive?

Also, no sketchcards listed in the (admittedly little) info provided thus far.

Rapid succession of products that are draining me- MM22 on epack, 92MM Platinum, now this.

I need to start looking at this in terms of I have the whole Topps era to work on a set like this…not try to collect everything out of the gate this month. Need to shift my mindset on collecting.

Edit: just when I thought I had the complete run of Preliminary art cards, this has to drop and make a whole new set of them to collect.

Chromium aka "Platinum" is also in this product. 2 base plus 1 chromium per pack

oh yeah, and redemptions in this product too. Looks like the license handover will be far more lenient than the one Rittenhouse endured. Epack remains online, epack products available for sale for a while, redemptions packed into the last products...

I think unlikely to be an exclusive. Possibly if the print run is super-small, but unlikely

They say it’s the lowest production run of all modern masterpieces then go on to post pack hit averages where the print run would be 41,600 boxes. One of their statements in the attachments is obviously not true, if not both.

Yes. The Dos Santos set was delayed from 2022, this is the 2024 version of the set. All the same parallels as a normal MM plus Platinum parallels and more
