Showstoppers Galactic, the remix. Personally i like the original 2017-18 design better.

I got my first Galactic for Keegan Murray for 2023/24 and I gotta say it’s very underwhelming. I would pick 2-3 other parallels from that set over it for sure!

These will always be light dependent. They either look like bland base cards or crazy depending on your light situation.

Lookin like the most vanilla card ever. Ambient light.

Sameish light a bit closer to a window, different angle. A bit better but still not really wowing me-

Different room, multiple overhead lights on-

Same room different spot-

You can spin around in circles and the card looks like a kaleidoscope flashing 3 or 4 different shapes as the rainbow courses through it. Now if that really isn't your thing that's fine, and I could see where theyre "underwhelming" in the first sort of light (cubics and cosmics IMO look a lot better in that sort of light) but I feel like they are an appropriate amount of "whelming" in the second light. I would challenge anyone's gentlemanly and scholarly credentials who says otherwise. If you want cards that look similar in all situations there are others that fit that niche. These are for learned men with large collections of leatherbound books and discerning tastes. Men who appreciate nuance and don't delight in foppish sets like Prizm or Select.

The warmer the light source the better IMO. The more overhead lights in different parts of the ceiling the more shapes you see at the same time. Best I views I ever had were in my old house with a lot of yellow fluorescents in the kitchen.

kind of like how obsidian don't pop until you take them out the sleeve.

Gotta think all them layers of plastic are kind of like wrapping your car in a semi-matte clear film.

Obsidian is fantastic! Grew on me like Mosaic, both products are cool in their own respect.

Love the Tatum card design. The black background makes it stand out even more.
