Exactly^^^ On top of that, in this case the listing explicitly says I have 7 days to pay. That's why I'm pissed. If I had known I needed to pay on day 6, I would have.

not sure what settings you are using, but when I sell I can set it to automatically cancel after 4 days. 11 days is wild.

If it explicitly says how long I have to pay: I typically use the whole time to try and win multiple items. That's higher prices for the seller and lower prices for me. Win/win.

If it doesn't explicitly say how long or ESE shipping: I pay that at the end of the night.

A month later, I sold 2 lots of 70's fb cards, only to find that 2 of them were from the 4 lots that I had sold previously. I checked my listings, and all 4 of the lots were still listed. So, I ended the listings. A week later, I sold another lot, only to find that it had already been sold in the original group of 4. I again checked my inventory and found that all 4 of those sold lots were listed for a 3rd time.

I haven't contacted eBay, because they wouldn't have a clue about fixing it. Back when I would only have a couple of hundred items listed, I would go through the listings every couple of months and verify my inventory, but now, with 5000 listings, I can't do that.

So, I don't know why eBay is relisting BIN's that are sold, paid for, and shipped.
I do this once a year in September. Usually I only find items that I still have that aren't listed.

I just listed a car on Facebook Messanger and got six messages within the first hour. That means the baseball card people were rejecting my listing

I accidentally left a coupon public that I intended to send to only my Followers. It's resulted in two sales today. Guess I'll leave it, luckily only 15% off. Maybe I'll send a 20% to my Followers next month.

For those of you with an eBay store, you have less than a week to use your coupon for supplies before the 2nd quarter ends. I know some don't use it, but for those who do, don't forget.

I used mine for 4x4x4 boxes. Those should be pretty good for those low end 50-100 card lots that go in penny sleeves.

My sales have stagnated this month. Unfortunately, it has a lot to do with PSA delays. I've burned through a lot of my more liquid slabs and now I have a bunch of semi and non-liquid slabs. I'm going out of town in a few days and I'll be back in mid-July. When I get back I'm committing myself to auctioning off all my football and baseball slabs. And then after that, auctioning off everything else when I think it's the right time.

I've been a giant pussycat when it comes to auctioning things off, especially slabs, but I need to pay that tuition payment, if I have to take some losses, so I get a better idea on what I should and shouldn't be grading.

Most of my raw inventory is stale and hardly what one would call liquid. At this point I delisted everything in my store and have started relisting with updated pricing, as best I can, and "best offer" for everything. I know I'm gonna get a ton of low ball offers, which is fine. I just can't keep up with comping 1.5k listings and constantly adjusting prices. If someone sends an offer I'll look up the comps and try to be near them. I also have volume pricing on football, basketball, and wrestling cards under $20. As well as 10% off all baseball cards under $20.

Let's see how it works out.

Leaving my 15% coupon active seems to have attracted a lot of Watchers but not many pulling the trigger now. I'm trying to judiciously send Seller Offers on items where I have more room to come down, and use the offer message to draw attention to the coupon on all items and combined shipping. A couple of the offers have converted, but no luck upselling yet.

For those who have a large volume of inventory for sale where are you having your most luck finding cards in bulk to sell? I'm really just getting started in trying to build up my inventory and the vast majority of the lots/collections for sale on ebay seem to be priced to a point where reselling the cards individually and making any profit would not be possible or for the cheaper lots it seems to be mostly bulk commons that won't sell individually. I've found 1 or 2 decent deals but spend hours looking for something worth purchasing. Basically I'm trying to find a consistent source of inventory for my store.

Last night I ended 200 listings, but when I resubmitted there were 201. It didn't take long to find the duplicate, but we had been talking about losing listings earlier. This time it added a listing.

Networking. Card Shows are the #1 source for acquiring inventory for me. Develop relationships with dealers that give you good deals. It's easier to develop relationships if you set up as a dealer. This also gives you better access to deals before the show starts, or buying bulk for cheap after the show.

Over the last several years this has been the hardest part of reselling per a lot of dealers I know. Just cannot find enough larger lots that has meat on the bones. They have to work with smaller profit margins so no or small discounts are allowed.
They try Facebook, Craigslist, E-Bay, other dealers, shows and any other way. Some get lucky and find a breaker that will sell all the cards he is trying to dump.

Talk about inflation. The last time I bought Card Savers it was $93. Today it is $150.

So according to NEO Cards, Ebay is floating the idea soon that for auctions if a bid is made within 2 minutes of a list ending, the listing is extended for another 2 minutes. If does actually happen, this seems like a great move for everyone except snipers and maybe some dealers who are dependent on listing finishing at a certain time if that is a thing

I know eBay said this would be for “select” cards so I think it’s for ones with a certain number of bids and over a certain dollar amount ‬

Its a smart move by ebay. It will help prices go out up nicer items returning them more fees. Sellers should get improved returns too. If you are buying, it will most likely hurt. But there is no way to actually quantify it. You don't know what bidder behavior would or wouldn't be in the opposite scenario.

I am shocked at how popular Donruss baseball is this year. For being unlicensed, it is selling better and quicker than any product has for me in a very long time. There also has not been any lag since release week. Every day is still booming as if the product is brand new. I'm still listing as well, but need to take significant breaks to ship in order to keep up. It could end up being my best ROI ever, and only one card in 4 cases was over $200.

This has naturally led to a huge sales bump overall but I'm also getting a lot of buys on stagnant inventory, so that could be the algorithms rewarding me. Once I'm done listing (which is still going to take a while), I'm very curious where my final sales will land. Feels like the old days again.

Anyone seeing offer entries be nearly self-populating? For example, I want to send a $34 offer and type 3, then 0s appear to make it $3 if I didn’t catch it before sending.

If you can buy the sealed at a decent price, these are the kinds of releases I always did great on. I don't do much opening these days with wax as hot as it is, but my favorite was always waiting for the initial price drop on USA Stars & Stripes and I almost always doubled my money. This kind of stuff flies under the radar because breakers don't open much of it and individuals don't want to put in the time to list the low dollar cards.

Would be nice if it limited the bidders to only ones that did it after a certain time (as a buyer)

As a seller this would be nice and could jump the price of some items especially if they are in demand.

Hopefully it would be limited to how many times it would add 2 mins

Say 2 Two Minutes , then a one minute then a 30 second would be one way to make it cool and exciting.
