Why not?

They have decent checklists, decent autos, decent designs, and are available to rip at a reasonable price.

They're probably more "collectable" than anything released in the last couple of years.

I was wondering why a thread about 21/22 Finest Flashback was getting so much traction. This was a fun rip at release even though the price was too high. At $300 a case, I had to grab one.

Grabbed one more case of 21/22. Had a "coupon/gift code" so got it even cheaper than before (<$250). Seeing these superfractors pop out keeps me chasing. Although this will be my last go at it.

Yep, I did calculations back when first released and I had the base refractors for the 21/22 set with a print run of about 126.....making them much rarer than people probably believe they are

Well.....spurred by this thread, I went back though my stash and realized two things....

- I had two boxes remaining from my original case
- I had never completed my set from my original case

So I went back and opened my last two boxes this afternoon and was able to complete my set.....best pull from the last two boxes today was a Gold Liam Delap RC #/50.

The case in total (opened over the course of 3+ years) yielded:

Lautaro Martinez Aqua auto #/30
Jude Bellingham Black #/25
Liam Delap, Ryan Gravenberch, Georgio Chiellini Gold #/50
Steven Gerrard & Marco Reus Boxtopper prisms #/35

Best refractors were Paolo Maldini & Serginho Dest

Cole Palmer black/25
Camavinga orange auto/10
Verrati red/5
Sesko red/5 auto

other than a refractor of Ronaldo, got nothing of any of the very top players other than base. None of any of the Americans either. Felt like a ton of the 'right team, wrong guy' for my luck with the exception of the Super overall.

Cards [most] are off to COMC.

I'll likely pick up some more boxes, but for the time being I'm enjoying picking up some singles from the recent wave that's been hitting eBay from more people opening. I'll share some pics when they come in.

Side note: do you find that you actually sell lowish end singles on comc in the $5-50?

7-8 cases. And they've all been shipped to COMC for the most part. See you in 4 months!

I mean the Cole and the Camavinga are nice hits but don't pay for the case. You add in some $5-10 hits maybe you get there.

Resisted ever buying a second case of 21/22 and started buying up singles instead. Had a blast with my $300 case a couple pages back, but as always singles are the way to go.

Since my case, I've picked up the 21/22 cards below for a grand total of $391 before tax/shipping, which is about the current price of a case on BO. The Nuno Red RC is pretty graily for me. Will post some pics once I've got them all in hand.
