I hope the auto checklist lives up to the baseball counterpart.

Unless it's the 1993 design that was used for 2020 Finest Flashbacks, easy pass....this year's design is mediocre, IMHO.

And this is going to be what....the 10th Champions League product Topps has released this year....the 15th....the 20th.....

You can only milk a cow so many times before it runs dry.....

Topps and fanatics just extended that champions league license, these deals aren’t cheap. Lol

Also I hope these are cheaper than 200 with no autos.

And that's the problem in a nutshell.

The cost of the exclusive licenses is so high that manufacturers are forced to churn out products irrespective of whether there is any actual demand for them.

I would guess that actual collector demand (i.e. excluding breakers) is for 1-2 league-specific products per year, and 3-5 UCL products a year.

Could be nice. But nobody needs yet another chromium UEFA product. Absolutely no creativity from Topps.

Yeah that's a great point. I just hope we get Messi on-card 1993 autos...

all depends on auto checklist. if it’s good it won’t matter that it’s the millionth uefa set. same with mourinho set. if there are good autos people will chase.

Gimme autos of some of the stars from 1993....i.e. Baggio, Batistuta, Gullit, Rijkaard, Van Basten, Matthaus, Klinsmann, Bergkamp, Maldini, Baresi, Cantona, Shearer, etc.

Well, the checklist is out, and it's pretty strong in terms of retired player content, with just about everyone Topps has under license making it into the base checklist, and Baresi, Inazghi, Lampard, Torres, Larsson, Zola, Casillas, Schmeichel, DiMatteo, Xabi Alonso, and Gerrard all having autos.

Unfortunately, no Cantona or Maldini autos, though....

But it's the 1993 design, not the 1995 design, so the cards should look very nice....

1993 design is massive. The auto checklist does look good too. I hope we get a reasonable price on it. If it follows a similar format to baseball, PR will be pretty high so I'm really hoping that the box cost isn't too much. Soccer has not been a great buy-at-release item for the past few months.

Same as it was for baseball with 1 per case. Case for baseball is 6 boxes if that helps.
