I hope this set is well done and drives some interest back into AEW cards.

AEW is so off the radar I saw an LCS still taking Skybox AEW pre-orders even though it's been cancelled.

Got a Cope Cpllision patch/auto in my first box. Ended up getting one more manufactured patch (three total) than I should have and got shorted a mem/diamond/booklet. Happy with what I got, though, since the other patched were Danielson and MJF. Got Cheistianin the exquisite line, base Mark Dabis and Lee Moriarty numbered to 25. My other two boxes will be here Friday.

This type of release is my weakness, I don't enjoy opening 20 packs of cards and sifting through worthless base cards looking for the bigger cards or hits. Just give me one pack with ten or less cards and let me get to the hits.

On eBay boxes of these are cheaper and I don't think anyone is scanning AEW boxes so I went against my normal rule and purchased a loose box on eBay. I'm pretty ok with it! And the cards do look great.

The Rosa and Danielson are both /25. Danielson memorabilia is "wrestler worn" while the Logo Patch is manufactured. Paid $175 for the box.

This is fun! I liked the last box so I got another one, wasn't a big fan of this box:

Notice anything missing? I got two logo patches and no autograph, which the box was supposed to have. I don't usually do this but I was miffed (partially because the rest of the box wasn't good either) and sent them an email about it. Upper Deck asked for a few things, I responded with what they wanted, and they said they'd mail me a replacement within 12 to 16 weeks.

I have absolutely no idea what to expect from the replacement card so at least I have a bit of intrigue to look forward to.

I realize I'm just talking to myself here but an update on the replacement card - it was a non-numbered Alex Reynolds autograph. So yea, I wouldn't say they "took care of me" haha. I still love the look of these cards but that last box naturally soured me on buying more.

I appreciated the update. That last box was rough, sorry to hear about the replacement, but that’s what I would expect from Upper Deck. I’m sure at that price point that was a tough pill to swallow. I agree that the cards look great, but I don’t think much is even being opened anymore as I’ve been keeping my eye out for singles. Either people are keeping the interesting stuff or it’s just not getting opened.

They really failed with BD, hopefully SP-Game Used lives up to the hype this should of had given it was prob the highest-end set we’ve gotten so far.

I was afraid they'd do that. Putting stuff on ePack for the original MSRP when everywhere else online its 40% cheaper will surely trick a few people but won't lead to a lot of sales. I just purchased a case from an authorized UD seller for $1,025 a week ago and they probably aren't even selling well at that price, who is paying $1,720??

I assume there are achievement chasers (which I am not) that will pay more to get a rare auto as I don't think any regular AEW card collector would willingly spend 40% over what other authorized retailers are selling them for.

Mostly 1/1s and booklets (per terapeak, 17 cards from the set have sold for at least $350 on eBay). But it is definitely not a good buy at that price, in my last five box case maybe one box had $350+ worth of cards (based on re-sale prices) but some boxes had under $100, really rolling the dice at that price. I wouldn't be shocked if I buy more boxes in the future but I'd be aiming at the $175 or less range, literally half what ePack is charging.
