His season has been bad from every angle but what worries me even more that he isn’t the only one, they seem to be worse than last year which I didn’t think was humanly possible. Robert had a good game last night so hopefully it’s the restart he was looking for. New trade talks are emerging with LA and Philly who need a CF upgrade so let’s see what happens.

I'd love for the Phillies to buy low on Robert. At least there's some hope he could bounce back. Watching Brandon Marsh and Johan Rojas will do that to you.

I’d take him on the giants today. A CF who plays plus defense and has a 40 hr ceiling has value to a lot of teams. It’s laughable to suggest he’d ever be DFA’d. Even with his horrendous performance many teams would give multiple top 10 prospects to get him.

We all can agree his season hasn’t been great, he seems to have fixed some issues like swinging less and attempting to take more walks but that might also explain why the offense has suffered. Physically he looks great and a change of scenery is definitely what Robert needs, every lineup the White Sox have put out this season has been a disgrace, sure their farm system got a massive upgrade but the major league team is dealing with the consequences. Still hearing chatter about Dodgers, Phillies and Mets who would be in the market if the price comes down.

Realistically he's got no value, isn't getting traded at the deadline. White Sox won't pick up $20mm option so he probably signs with the Pirates in 2026 on a 1 yr/4.5 mm deal. He will then hit .205 with 7 home runs and be playing for Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters in 2027.

Crazy he's almost 28.
