I don’t agree with this take simply because Caitlin ONLY has Origins, Select and Prizm. Even including retail for Select and Prizm and the Panini Instant stuff, it’s nowhere near the avalanche of Wemby cards out there.

You make fair points, but are missing key differences.

Caitlin has pro base rookies in 4 products. Wemby is in easily 10x that.

Take Prizm. Caitlin has roughly 25 parallels of her base Prizm. Wemby has more than I care to count, but it looks to be at least 60-70. That means there are massively more base cards of Wemby as well.

Caitlin has one company making her rookies, and that company definitely held back relative to what they could have gotten away with quantity wise. Wemby has two trying to out flood each other. One of those companies can't print autos, so they need to overfill the non auto aspect. The other needs to establish it's brand and creates dozens of ugly ass cards to compensate.

Lots of Caitlin's will be graded, 100%. But if it's close to Wemby, it's a function of her popularity compared to his, not at all a print run consideration.

That is good point guys. I just think by the time the year is done, we will have full saturation of Clark RCs. Anybody who wants one will have 1000s to chose from at any given time.

Just to be clear, anyone who wants one can have one, but there are only a couple to choose from.

The Draft Night autos weren't pack pulled. At least the Prizm set ones are a little more random.

Btw, those Draft Night autos might have been the steal of the year. $500/auto and maybe 2 months later, they were going for $10K.

It's still crazy that an on-demand card with a PR of over 45K is bringing in so much. They've gone down, but still profitable if you bought direct from Panini.

But yeah $10K for the set...yikes.

Obviously they are still popular, but this stuff has absolutely tanked in the last 2 months. Last two sales for that card are $3250 and $4200. A PSA 10 wouldn't even bring $10k now. There are ones currently listed for less. The Instant autos have mostly all gone down anywhere between 40%-70%.

Who knows what the market will value the Clark Mania autos at but I'd be surprised if it's anywhere close to the regular Prizm autos.

Are you trying to make money on it? If so, the easiest way is to buy at the price you think the Caitlin auto /35 will go for so everything after that is gravy.

Otherwise, it's too much work to break the set and try to be the first to market to get good value back on the cards /99.

Way under. I think if more than a couple bought at $10k this would have sold out 30 minutes ago.

i was planning on jumping in, maybe in 2 more drops. Figure $2-3K for the auto, maybe $1,500 total for the 2 Caitlin rcs, another $1K for the other 3-5 top rookies , and then maybe another $1-2K for the rest. Maybe the market will be much better for the auto than im giving credit for, but a lot of times with sets ends up as a race to bottom for some guaranteed profit.
