Hmm, so no clears and 2 black parallels (holo & rainbow).

Looks like they're doing their typical SKU exclusive parallels. Rainbows in Hobby/Jumbo and retail gets the holofoil treatment.

3 actually, with Diamante.

A complete hatchet job for the black parallel.

what is the grocery shipper box noted on the odds sheet? seems to have better odds than most formats for a lot of parallels

I've wondered that myself. You figure its the retail box that gas stations, convenience stores, Big Lots, etc........put out so people can buy individual packs. Not sure what format these are.

Let’s talk about the release.

Anyone preorder? Did you guys checkout the checklist and odds? What platform you picking up if any? For you math wizards, did you figure out what the best cost per parallel is and did that determine what you’re buying?
This will be the first Series 1 in a while that I didn't rip atleast one case of. Checklist, odds, design, parallel changes... Too many reasons for me to pass.

I thought those were the display boxes. also, these odds are wild when you really look at them, jumbo and hangers seem loaded in comparison. also, the blasters will not have the holiday parallels, those are in the tins this year

Display Box and Retail Box are the same thing I believe. Check out those Mega's too. Just doing a dollar value per Gold /2025 pulled it's the 2nd best. Hanger is the best but not by much.

Are we expecting the same distribution as always of the silver packs? I haven’t seen a mention of them yet.

They are part of the checklist that say "Hobby/Jumbo Only" so I would assume yes. 1 per Hobby Box and 2 per Jumbo Box.

on the odds sheet they refer to the retail as the display box, never heard of the grocery shipper, it could be another version of retail/display boxes, but I don't know if anyone really knows

They’ve been on the past few years’ odds sheets too for Flagship. I’m going to guess it’s the Meijer shipments with the purple parallels

Wait, are Meijer's purples still a thing? They aren't on the odds sheet. To be fair, there wasn't a purple listed on the odds sheet that was limited to just one SKU in 2024 or 2023 either.

So it looks like gold foils in the Jumbos are gone and replaced by something called Sandglitter?

It appears pretty much all paper parallels are gone, replaced by various types of foil. I actually prefer the paper parallels. Foils feel like a poor man's refractor.

I'm guessing the only paper parallels will be Memorial Day, Independence Day, Vintage Stock, Gold, and Team Border.

Shiny is great. But not everything has to be shiny to be cool.

Purple odds are easy to figure out, they’re one per blister pack. That’s why they’re not on the odds sheet.

Stars of the MLB are one per retail pack. They are listed on the odds sheet. Plenty of cards have easy to figure out odds. Every other color parallel is on the odds sheet.

I think you should go tell all those that are upset over the black parallels that a parallel doesn't need to be on the odds sheet to be in the product and see what type of response you get.

You missed the whole point.

There are plenty of cards that the odds are easy to figure out. They are still on the odds sheet.

Black parallels aren't in this product based on them not being listed on the odds sheet. Same with clear and the Mother's Day and Father's Day. Therefore, Meijer's purples and hanger yellows should also not be in the product this year.

Have purples ever been on an odds sheet?

Black, clear, yellow, etc were on previous odd sheets and now they are not. It’s reasonable to assume they’ve been removed. If purple have never been on an odds sheet it’s not an apt comparison.

Not in recent years they've not been on the checklist and we don't even know if they've been made until they show up at Meijers in their blister packout. Heck a few years ago, I think they didn't even get released for Series 2, but were in S1 and update or something (maybe it was yellows, when they were still Walgreens, but again not on the checklist at the time either).

So a parallel doesn't need to be on the odds sheet to be in the product? Like I said, go tell that to the group that is upset over the black parallel being eliminated.

You saying it's not on the odds sheet because the odds are easy to figure is not logical when there are a bunch of cards that have the same odds (like SOTM falling one per retail pack) on there.

You’re right, it’s about as logical as comparing losing a baseball card parallel to a dead dog.
