If this was a four team playoff, I’d have Oregon, Georgia, OSU, and Boise State in that order.

I’m good with that too.
Basically there’s no need to slam one individual team then when there’s several guilty of not quite being good or sexy enough.

SMU, Texas, Penn St, Indiana and Bama all sooey

Surprised Penn State didn't fall below Notre Dame. Essentially they didn't get punished for their CCG loss. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.............

Indian-Notre Dame should have great attendance. Love that match up.

8 teams would be better IMO but these are some cool matchups. Should be a lot of fun.

I'm disappointed with us not getting in, but at the same time, we did it to ourselves. Congrats to SMU for getting in!

This should permanently put to rest any interesting OOC games from being scheduled if they aren’t already. Absolutely no benefit to doing so.

It would also benefit the SEC to expand further and dilute the pool some.

Also absolutely wild seeing ASU get a first round bye.

Legitimate gripe with this format: Penn State has a much more favorable path than Oregon

But strength of schedule doesn't. I agree with Saban. Next year, the committee needs to reevaluate the way they seed.

Not really. SEC teams have been scheduling Mercer and Little Sisters of the Poor instead of playing a legitimate 9th conference game for years.

Nothing changes on that front.

Congrats to all the teams that made it. But I will say this when SMU goes to Penn State and gets slaughtered the blood is on this committee's hands.

No chance SMU comes within 3 scores

I appreciate that brother. Not gonna lie, it sucks, but we didn't beat the teams we should have. Who knows, maybe this will set us some major upsets!

Texas, as much as I love them, is a prime upset target.

Quinn Ewers is Steve Harrington from Stranger Things. Great for fighting regular monsters. Not well suited for taking down the Big Bads.

Bama survived the gauntlet of Western Kentucky, USF, 5-7 Wisconsin, and Mercer this year.

Let's not overlook the difference between incompetent ACC leadership threatening to sue last year and what the NCAA/ESPN would have faced from all the pissed off oil lawyers in Texas.
