Have you heard of this Ethan Belchetz kid yet? 6'5" 235 Lbs and just turned 16 3 weeks ago.
Can skate like the wind and has pretty sweet hands plus a wicked shot. I assume he'll be the hot topic in another couple years.

Gavin McKenna is gonna go 1st overall in 2026. He is a freak. Also from my hometown, which is awesome. His cards will be pricey but I'll need a few!

Decent list by TSN, I'd focus upon the teams that draft specific players as a hint of expected to baseline performance ratios. Past draft picks by the Oilers, Leafs, Canucks and Jets have had the best performance on a long-term scale even on later rounds.

Personally I stick to looking at midwest hockey if you opt for chasing after rookie card on a year by year basis, far better puck handling in high pressure playoff games. In terms of northeast specific teams, tracking hockey stats of Northeastern and BU are the preferred option but don't ignore some of the smaller less hockey focused schools as some teams drafted decent players that didn't get as much of a scouting profile by other big market teams. Having said that, may have practiced with some pre-NHL players in pickup games during the baseball off-season with an Ivy hockey ex(Ivy non-hockey vs upper tier NCAA is entertaining, always know pitchers are good hockey scorers)

2025 draft class seems to be disappointing. Perhaps on par with 2022's

There's a lottttttt of depth to the 2022 1st round. They aren't all going to have a generational talent

Hagens is a very strong 1OA type player by any standard.

Yikes - hockey prospecting is hard. I leave that to the experts of this card forum.
