I wonder how much UD made from MM22 over the past four days.
For anyone still working on collecting MM22 on e-Pack, best of luck to you. In my experience, once a set sells out, trading becomes infinitely harder. EDIT: There are 202,127 MM22 cards on the e-Pack marketplace There are 989 on COMC. The highest price on COMC is $149,375 for an Emerald Green Foil #12. That has to be a joke. Gold foils are as low as $0.10 right now. Why anyone is rushing to the bottom is a mystery. If nobody did that, there's a decent chance everyone would make more money. Sheesh that didn’t take long. I’m kinda glad it sold out, it’s way too expensive and dangerously tempting.
Last minute pack buying because it might be last MM epack for good. Sanna sketch ![]() PA redemption which I’ll have to physically send home it looks like (that’s a flaw. No reason you shouldn’t be able just redeem it all online).

Looks like between ~45-50% were sold thru e-pack, meaning around 5400-6000 boxes.... so revenue around 2,700,000 - 3,000,000 USD...... its actually peanuts if you think about it and show you just how small the non sport Marvel market is right now due to variety of reasons (price, distribution methods etc etc)

It’s true about the mutual cooperation and race to the bottom but obviously cannot happen when you take into account human behavior. Kind of reminds me of the prisoners dilemma, where cooperation can pay off, but everyone’s gonna act in their individual interests, even though paradoxically the end result of that is a worse outcome individually than if they just cooperated. Human nature I suppose. It’s also people trying to make a dent in the tons of money spent and get anything at all for it. If it’s like older MMs, it goes way down in the immediate flood, then climbs back some. COMC is such a buyers marketplace. I’m enjoying the prices being low I admit, as a collector it’s great.

Does anyone know if there is any difference at all if, when having things shipped, between:
1. Shipping them home from epack 2. Sending to Comc then using economy rushed shipping. Is there any difference in 1)where it’s coming from, 2)how long it takes to be sent out, or 3)method of shipping (FedEx vs USPS etc). I’m trying to decide how to have a lone Preliminary Art redemption sent home. It expires end of this year so coming up.

Yea COMC uses USPS. Do you know how UD ships direct from epack? Is it not USPS?

UD doesn't do shipping. Its always COMC for cards. Some large autograph prints for sports I think UD does ship themselves.

I did have a Collect Forever comic shipment shipped once and it came from somewhere else that wasn’t COMC, and was also FedEx, but that must be different than ePack/cards.

Some guy hit two cover redemption within 5 packs when there was around 50 cases left. What a lucky bastard!

It’s pretty incredible they priced it at $43. If they priced it at $75, what’s there to lose? That it takes 2 weeks to sell out vs 4 days? If in the very small chance it wouldn’t sell out in 2 weeks, then just do a sale on it. It’s MM. The last MM set no less. DDS art. It would sell out. They could have made double the money on this epack easily. Also doing a 50/50 split wasn’t necessary, could have been like 80/20 epack vs physical and their margins would be more (physical wholesale was $300). UD kinda did a favor for the hobby with this price. Maybe was their MM swang song in appreciation. That or they just don’t like having packs being so expensive.

Finally sold out, my wallet thanks everyone else for buying lol.
I did two 3 pack lots at the end and netted two emerald greens and a printing plate. I normally never hit plates, but hitting 2 in about 13 total packs is solid. 13 packs netted me: 2 plates, 2 emerald greens, 1 tier 4 gold sig, 1 legendary orange, 1 epic purple. Also canvas wolverine and 3 holofoils. Only had 2 or so packs that didn't have an insert. Fun rip and definitely lucky. |

yes, my wallet is certainly thankful that is over...
First enjoyable experience I have had on epack in ages although most of the trades I got were pretty poor value as usual. I bet UD was hoping it was going to stay up longer to help them sell through their other sets tho. here are the pics I promised a few pages back, as mentioned the Venom is #01/50 which I assume warrants a premium but I have been unable to find comps for the Variant cover anyway so not sure where the value lies on it ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

in all the madness I forgot to mention that one of the packs I opened contained 4 cards. Not sure if anyone has seen this before, there wasn't anything special in it from memory, *edit* screenshot below. Anyone else have this happen?

Interesting. I do remember it from previous sets, like Spidey metal, where a couple packs I opened had a different number of cards. Didn’t have it happen in this MM set at all for me but then again I didn’t open a ton.

So a question: this was mentioned above by someone. You can’t transfer a card from epack to comc and just price it at > $100. COMC requires that to be reprocessed as elite (which costs $2). But elite processing takes like 2-3 business days.
So how, on the first day of MM being released, did I see all kinds of MM22 cards on COMC way north of $100? And I know they weren’t all physical ones sent in, since some were achievements. How could that card be on COMC same day at that price if elite processing takes 2-3 days? What am I missing?

Edit: that’s on the comc app. Just tried on desktop and when I enter a price higher than $100, it just requires me to reprocess as elite to list. How do you sell a card north of $100 without reprocessing as elite?
