Just waiting here for Dyna to come in!

Wow, I didn't expect this to be until December (no evidence, just gut feeling). It'll sell out pretty quickly, probably. Then let's see if they cram a whole bunch of other sets in before the year's end.

based on $750 / box, pack price would be $62.50, so i am guessing $70-75 per pack for 3 cards

That’s an insane pack price if it ends up being true.

Will base cards be digital like in cheaper releases or will base cards be transferable to COMC ?

In the past they have been physical.

price guessing will be a main discussion here

anyone want to chime in with actual educated guesses based on prior data?

important non epack things to consider:
What is the wholesale cost per box? - this will give us a good baseline. aka epack wont be cheaper than wholesale, so what was wholesale per pack?

What was the box price presale before they spiked to the current ~$950 a box on ebay? Looks like it was ~$800 range based on terapeak data.
Blowout and D&A is currently ~$9,200 per case > ~$766 per box > $63 per pack

the past couple marvel releases have been less than expected

Around $300, they should drop at $400 and sell it out in a day. They have so much junk product to clear off the site before Dec 31. Most of it will need to be discounted 75-90% to actually sell out

Watch they drop a few nice 50% off Marvel sales the same weekend.

How did I miss this thread…..

Welp there goes what’s left of my wallet

It’ll be very interesting to see how much it is. I’ll randomly guess $50-60 a pack. Have a hard time seeing how it’ll be $400 a box, and if it is, that’ll make it harder to even get a pack since people will crash the site and buy it all out immediately.

I’m actually more interested in picking what I need for the set off comc for cheaper finally. The packs are for gambling. Singles on comc is for collecting.

Interested to see what the achievements will be….using the unreleased art? Maybe?

since cards released on epack end up dropping 80%-90% shortly after what are the $4000 /10 autos going to go for? $400-$500? lol

I'm gonna buy 3-4 packs for a lotto ticket but otherwise I cant WAIT for the singles to dump onto COMC. I've had my eye on 4-5 that have just been listed for way to expensive on Ebay BINs.

I believe there will be an original painting redemption possible, and it’ll be for the Spider-Man, since the Thor painting was redeemed from physical. Probably one of the #1 things to chase. And red spectrums of course. And DDS sketches

Okay I will ask as a refresher.

How long did it last on epack the last time?

How much per pack were they?

I am for some reason leaning towards a cheaper pack and a quick sell out.

UD has to be mindful of all the other shovelware they need to sell by January.

So too expensive for MM will mean the set lingers, and people save up and focus exclusively on the one set as they can afford packs.

Leaving most of the other sets unsold.

I think we start seeing some deeper discounts on some of the other Marvel sets… the previous 25% offs will become 50%. MM will suck up all collector dollars until it sells out tho.

I’d like to say Palumbo’s 2020MM lasted for about a week. It was dropped in Feb ‘21. Say on a Tuesday, then sold out by like the end of that weekend. That’s what I *vaguely* remember, and I could be wrong.

The price per box I think was around 299 (or 249?) and pack price was around $22.99 or something. Boy have times changed, even since that recent.

The thing is this set has had so much more hype and exposure than MM20- just look at the influencers for example. There will be a ton more eyes on epack, the site probably won’t hold the traffic. It’s also the last MM set for awhile, maybe ever. A high price point will be the only thing that lets it last more than a few days.

Thanks for the info. I think 2018 was like $15 a pack and 2016 either the same or lower. Wow.

Yea 2016MM was the pinnacle- golden era- of epack. Nothing will match that for me.

Could get a box for like 170. The set itself was awesome.

It’s incredible that we’ve jumped from $15-$22 a pack to whatever the heck it’ll be tomorrow, in just a few years.

I went back and checked my purchase history. Mine were over about 4 days. I think it lasted somewhere between 7 and 9 days before it sold out (I waited a few days before I bought any).

Packs were $21.99. Boxes were $249.99.
