Just picked this card up. 2018 panini wrapper redemption. It's the Kanji version. Does anyone know more about the card? From the frequency on Ebay it seems more likely to be a SSP vs. a SP.

Nice! I always sucked at it, but I was better at that than surfing. I am about the same age as Tony Hawk went to more than a few half-pipe events back in the day. Good times.

Helps keep my reflexes sharp and my pain tolerance high. Even after 30 years me and the ground still have daily unscheduled meetings. I cant give it up though.

Also - my business partner is close with Tony

They really brought the Indys back from the dead this year...great pickup!

A few Ohtani's in the mail today for me. Really excited to get the Big League rainbow foil...I missed out on one a few years ago and was like "I'll get the next one"...and then there was no next one for a long, long time. And with one PSA 10 out there, a 9 is just fine!

Nice job on the big league pick up! I didn't really know the comps on the card but saw it was for $220 or best offer. I made an offer...I am guessing you saw that the card had an offer on it and hit the BIN. I really wish the seller would have made me a counter offer in a timely manner. I would have hit the BIN otherwise.

I made an offer too but just smashed the BIN immediately afterwards, it's not worth the risk to save $50 or whatever IMO... I've missed out on a lot of Ohtani cards waiting for a seller to get back to me (and there's really no incentive for them to respond quickly on something like this).

Just 2 questions, do you guys feel as goes Ohtani so go the Dodgers and do you guys even care if the Dodgers lose as long as Ohtani does something positive during the game.

In retrospect I completely agree! I made an offer of $190 thinking I would at least get a response. My problem is the only thing better than a good deal on an Ohtani RC card is a great deal (or steal). But at this point I think when I see a card I don't have at a reasonable price I just need to buy it (even if I don't know the exact comps on the card).

Now that I have it in hand. I can finally post the Ohtani rookie I got. Truly a beautiful card in person and checks all my boxes.

$220 for that card in a 9 is probably a good deal.

I paid $150 at a show for my raw copy that has absolutely no shot at a 9.
