I’m a Yankee fan but my son loves Ohtani. I put $100 (pays $1200) on Ohtani to lead the majors in homers before the season started. He has a shot. I didn’t bet on Judge, or anyone else, since his odds were a lot lower.

I admit, I like collectibles for the action. Buying, selling, prospecting, gambling, etc., are parts of the fun. I will say that being older than many here I just can’t justify sticker autos. Give me a nice on-card auto and I feel that little connection to the signer.

Remember when people were talking about Lindor being a legit contender for MVP against Ohtani? Way back a few days ago? Here's a funny line from an article (in light of today's stat line) -

When I loaded the score and saw 20, I knew he hit it. I think I may start to considate some of my Sho cards, I have a few I'm not going to keep long-term and this is probably a good starting time to unload. I definitely have a bunch I'm never gonna let go of though.

Ive pretty much unloaded all my common stuff, only keeping the rare stuff and wax.

Now's the perfect opportunity to unload on all the common/non-rare Ohtanis.

Then re-buy back into the cards during the offseason IF you really need it for your PC OR put the gains towards a nicer/rarer Ohtani.

Ohtani also stole 2 bases. None of those for Green or Adcock who each drove in "only" 7 runs, haha.
I remember watching the Green game. That was special.
