Best from my last batch...man I'm going to miss opening this stuff for $80 a box. My kids and I haven't had this much fun opening in awhile. Nothing super crazy to end it, but still very happy with the break! The list of pulls from all 16 of my boxes was just ridiculous...

I opened 10 more boxes tonight. They were kind of stacked. None of the major hits but sob this product rules! These were the “bigger hits” but there were plenty more as well.

I will say one thing I dont like about this product is the way the made the borders appear uneven, the right looks way fatter than the left since the right border is actually the offset team logo.

You're probably right.

They received 100 WBC cases from TX.

They likely sold most of their boxes/cases at the $85 per (lower for people in select tiers) though they went up as high as the high $90s (based on what others shared in this thread). Let's just say they sold their boxes at an average of $92.50 (conservatively).

Then let's say they could've sold their boxes at $142.50 per.

$50 profit (before whatever fees they might owe) per box
12 box per case
100 total cases

$50 x 12 x 100 = $60k profit before whatever fees they might owe.

Lower the average price they sold their boxes for (more likely scenario) and increase the average price they could've sold their boxes for (more likely scenario, with further upward increases by the day) and it'd be an even higher amount.

Crazy....and it won't probably won't even impact them that much.

Are you sure that’s the design? I see plenty of centered base copies, and I’ve only purchased centered base copies at this point. Many of the parallels appear to have a fatter right border, though.

Lol 20 cases of either NT?!? Do you realize how little they pay? Last year their cost per box was $786 and $994. Conservatively factoring between breaking and selling what was their average sale price on each of those? Heck of a lot closer to 5 cases than 20. That would be a whole 5 of the 200+ they receive at those prices. Basically, the loss of what they could have made was a drop in the Pacific Ocean.

People always underestimate the value of them just getting out of all this in massive bulk while it's easy and hot. They probably sold thousands of boxes and they didn't lose money on any of them. Made their margin and move on to the next product. Businesses sell, not maximize every last penny on every inventory item waiting to try and time the peak where liquidity is low. Businesses don't count paper gains. Turning it in bulk over fast and at an acceptable margin is what it's about. This is a low end product for them too as far as price goes, probably don't care that much. A case is like 1 box of prizm. It is weird that the other 2 big players never even listed the product. Figure they'd just list at an astronomical price if they weren't that keen on moving it.

That's a really good case and definitely a crazy hot case in terms of color but I think it speaks to this product's strength that I've not only seen better cases but have ripped a better case. But yeah, the reds/foilfractors in that case are crazy.

Yeah, if you look closely, the team wedge on the bottom right makes most cards appear to have fat right borders but they're actually centered well as you would measure the left border all the way down and the right from the edge of the team wedge.

The moral dilemma of the bulging package is interesting.
My understanding is that it's immediately obvious if your box contains a booklet. Odds are roughly 1:75 boxes for a booklet.

A significant amount of Ebay sellers are NOT going to be listing those boxes.

Is it morally reprehensible to open your bulging package and list the others? If package heaviness is a guaranteed booklet, what's an unopened booklet box worth? 37 total subjects, specifically Shohei, Trout, Acuna Jr., and Julio. But some real ckunkers in there with long names-Melendez, Gimenez, Jimenez... Would you pay $1k for a guaranteed booklet?

I don’t think the box is bulging, the pack/plastic is bulging. Others can add more. Either way, I wouldn’t expect a booklet box if it come from EBay.

I just opened my 4 from Topps and I could even tell which one had a regular patch auto. It may not have been as obvious but it definitely felt thicker. No chance I’m buying a loose box off of eBay anywhere near these prices.

I got a Teoscar Hernandez booklet and that box was definitely bulging. You could tell just looking at it, almost like they tried to put too many cards in the box.
