Topps says One Auto or Auto relic per box

2023 WBC Global Stars (from earlier this year): Autos 1:3, 25 auto subjects(players not that great)


2023 WBC: Image variations, 1 auto or auto relic per box, 40 base auto subjects(including Ohtani, Acuna, Trout, Juan Soto, JRod, etc)

37 Relic auto subjects(not all the same subjects as the base autos)

Auto types: Base card autos, Uniform relic autos, Name plate patch autos

I have never seen anywhere that these cards are chrome, I think they are foil.

Silly people. Chrome will come mid February.... Sapphire Chrome early March.

These actually look pretty decent for $80... I bought 4 boxes (maximum allowed)

I've enjoyed my 5 Brooklyn and the 4 boxes of these. Price points are fine and I wish they'd allow higher limits.

Feel like this is how sports cards should be. Affordable and with decent hits.

Excellent foil parallels in this set. The stickers kept me from buying wax but I'll definitely be picking up singles on ebay

Is the release date for Chrome out yet?

Surprised these have not sold out yet. A lot of nice hits coming out from this stuff.

Nope. I think some have multiple accounts and are probably getting away with it.

I am not surprised they haven't sold out. I'm the target market here, but they already made this set this year and there's going to be a lot of Andres Gimenez and Jeff McNeil stickers dumped in this.

Yeah I took a 2nd look based on this thread and it's still a nope from me. Crazy world where $80 for 10 cards is considered a good deal. I have bought a couple singles off eBay and I'll continue to reward the lucky ones.

Oh it's 100% an awful value price/card ratio. I really look at it as a sticker auto and two parallels #d 99 or less. That's basically a hobby box minus the junk base. Outside shot of hitting the only WBC GU (jersey) Ohtani doesn't hurt but you're correct it's not a slam dunk.

What made me buy boxes was that I knew there was no way in hell i would bid high enough to win the Ohtani GUs when it hits auction. At least I get to live the pipe dream if I open a few lol.

The jersey relics don’t say anything about being game used or player worn. The base relics do say game used.

I hope there is a card celebrating the amazing Great Britain unis ... would be nice if this "T" made it into a game used patch card ...

Every one I’ve seen says game used right on the front of the card
