No idea what he did to get the ban hammer, but it seems absurd to me. I enjoyed his posts. I didn't always agree with him, but that is what makes the community great. TBP, you need to behave. Can't lose you, too.

I lurk far more than I post. I treasure the insights of many on this board.

Just want to chime in that I am also surprised. I wound up reading through various threads yesterday trying to find a clue as to what happened but nothing jumped out. I likely wouldn't have sold my first card this year without his advice on the boards.

Anyway, to contribute (barely) to the thread I'll say that I'm very much looking forward to watching Acuna in the playoffs this weekend.

SuperBrando was probably tied w TBP as my favorite poster here, so I truly hope it's not permanent..I don't really post all that much really outside of the occasional chiding or cosigning, but I read just about the entire baseball section. It would be a shame if he's gone for good.

Right, I just meant that in the surrounding discourse it seemed to be general player thread nonsense and not the kind of yikes stuff I sometimes see in What's-this-worth threads. ANYWAY, the beat goes on, I suppose.

Thanks....Picked up some big cards in the last few weeks. But this was the most expensive one. Got a nice deal, but still the most I ever spent on one card.
