The problem with "transparent" subgrades is that people can easily see how full of crap you are when issuing flawed black labels or pristines. BGS did this to themselves with shady practices and selectively lowering the bar.

some people do. they like that "pristine" grade instead of a "gem mint". how big of a difference is it? how close is the gap?
