After buying to 2 cases for my PC they definitely seem mappable were it goes every other box has an auto with either the right or left side of the case containing autographs. Good call. And even then, the big sellers will source loose boxes from the public so you never know if you’re getting case fresh product. Probably not the case here since these boxes are not in demand and the main guys will ultimately be looking to not dip below their direct cost of whatever they preordered.

I like to open wax and stay exclusively with sealed cases with one exception being cheap retail that I’m looking to build sets or stock up on low end inserts and parallels.

Also just noticed that BO knocked another $50 off Lite cases to $550 so this thing is gonna keep crashing because nobody is buying. I buy just about all my wax from BO (reliable and I can funnel selling credit on COMC into BO credit) and they will bump prices up as product moves.

Last year, a YouTube influencer posted a video on an underrated basketball product. I was able to grab a case but then saw that price rise quickly by about $150-$200 as orders started to come in.

I’ll keep waiting until I grab my single Lite case (unless prices really collapse and the rip is super fun).

Wow! This product is a huge mess! That didn’t take to long! Lol! Why can other sports have all the players and tennis can’t? This product had huge potential! Such a shame! No chance of sets coming out now with relic cards and patches!

Now we shall pivot and wait for Netpro to unveil its next line. It seems they are the only ones who know what they are doing in the tennis space... Big time miss for Topps. Here's to hoping they learn from their mistakes.

Tennis was such a different game back then with the equipment, stroke technique, and caliber of athlete. It's honestly hard to get excited about the pre open era/60s players. I personally never heard of her until this product.... If they wanted to include an older player besides Laver, it'd be cool to sneak some Richard sears from the 1880s - obviously no autos lol.

I got a hobby box with a view to using it as a base set and buying singles to complete. It is a total shocker, with over half the cards covered in black ink that does not wipe off.

I bought it direct from Topps, but I now see I could have got a case of the same price

Gorgeous card! I'm not chasing any autos but I just looked on eBay and there are hardly any copies period.

With the full Fanatics takeover, they have been trying to cut out distributors and hobby shops and sell direct more to keep a larger chunk of profit so a huge percent of these cases are probably still sitting in Fanatics warehouses.

And I can't see distributors going back to Topps to re-up their stock given weak performance.

I collect MLS and the 2022 Chrome product dropped from $85 MSRP down to $50-60 almost immediately and shows as sold out on Topps so not sure if they cut direct prices to distributors, they eventually found enough suckers to pay full price, or offered some direct discounters to consumers.

I noticed that lots of the cards on Ebay have a puff of black print around the players - it looks like black clouds or smudges. Surely these cards aren't supposed to look like that.

I complained about mine to Topps and they said they could not see the errors, but the tire marks and printed letters on this card attached are not supposed to be there are they? I have a dozens of cards with weird black mess on them.

maybe they could've spent another year on this set Qcing it lol. That being said. some of these cards are really sharp and beautiful. Looks like ebay breaks are dried up as breakers have moved on, but i did get a nice orange Grigor Dimitrov auto in one of the last ones i did. I have a new affinity for the remaining one-handed backhanders since i recently switched after 30 years of playing.

I'm trying to determine how much of this set is actually worth grading though. Maybe autos, low numbered HoFers, and future major winners (coco gauff...and is that it lol). I hear good thing about Arthur Fils... They missed the mark as everyone knows on this checklist, but i can see them rebounding with a future release with better players. I mean they had what only a handful of the women's top 50? wouldn't have minded Paula Badosa... If Iga was in this people alone would've continued to pay retail price, instead i have to deal with these crappy torn out SI for Kids cards for her cards.

if anyone is looking to get rid of Su-wei Hsieh auto let me know, i like to hold one auto of each tennis player that i like, past or present. too many to count now..

When this product reaches 1200 for hobby, i'll probably hold a 5 caser player break of this on BO though because that's reasonable price.
