Some states have open carry where he'd be covered if he wasn't brandishing his gun in the open like he was doing. That is the problem, whether you have a permit or not is besides the point. Brandishing it is a big NO NO.

Other states require you to have a concealed weapons permit and if you don't have it, you have to transport your weapon per state guidelines. Many require you to have the gun and chamber empty and locked separate from the magazine. Don't know the situation with MORONt but it's the brandishing of the firearm like a thug that is the issue.

If he's fascinated with the "thug life", I'd imagine there are different levels to it and I'd hope he stops at some point.

If he's fascinated with guns, there are better and more responsible ways to show your appreciation for them particularly with him being a public figure.

Teach him a lesson and trade him to the Warriors for Jordan Poole and draft picks. Make him do ride-alongs at night in Oakland to show how thuggish he really is. He'll also realize what state gun control looks like. CA and TN are night and day comparisons.
