Regardless of the low number, unfortunately orange cards are ugly as $hit and the blue is a nice color match for the Royals

I replied to his answer with current values and all to see if he took that into account. whats wrong with that????? He can just reply yes, thats what I think. And thats the end of it

I love orange refractors. They are part of the OG color wheel. Ref/Xfract/Blue/Gold/Orange/Red/Super. All gorgeous. Purple and green was the beginning of the end.

Values are a crap shoot when its the first one. Shoot for the moon. He gave you realistic prices where they could end at. The blue could be shilled and not even paid for by the end of its auction. Heck I could go bid it up to $5k with no intention of paying.

But you got an answer you didn't like, and someone else said the obvious how orange color is not as preferred as other color, that is a fact. I wouldn't say blue is more in demand than orange, but you could say gold is more in demand than orange in a way. Heck blue is more in demand than green and blue is out of 150 and green is out of 99.

But Orange in Baseball usually does go for more than gold.

True orange always outsells true gold in baseball. Maybe a true gold can give an orange wave/lava/whatever a run for it's money, but I wouldn't feel good putting money on it.

Up to 10x what a normal printed base auto would probably do. Purple is 2x base and Witt Purple is ~$800.

Not sure how close you want people to get. Either auction it off or set a high BIN and field offers. Many people here speak from experience.

Why is orange always over gold in baseball? Just because /25 is better than /50?

Green was first released in 2005… orange in 2006. If Green isn’t OG, neither is orange.

Yep. People keep insisting that if it's 2 SP per silver pack that the SP will be more than regular base. That would only be true (and barely) for the hobby portion of the print run. For Flagship retail accounted for 2/3 of the print run IIRC. I would imagine Chrome to be similar.

I’ve always felt the gold and orange should be reversed and golds be /25 and orange /50. But I guess it works better for me the way it is because I much prefer golds and at /50 they’re more affordable
